There's a very simple explaination for that. The Dude is constantly elevating a golden calf in his threads, while praying his theory is correct. The many words appear to tear down that calf, words of the truth, backed up with facts.

We will see. My opinion. When you got NKorean blowing SKorean vessels out of the water....they are not showing much respect for a world's super power that is allied with SKorea. But maybe you see it differently.

LBJ,,in his biography...said he felt the USS Liberty was a friendly fire incident. An accident. Also all the historical State Department of the 6 day war and immediate post period of 1968....are still classified. So? No one will debate his bio claim, with out evidence.

Did the NKorean sub surface to give aid? No. Israeli sent 3 patrl boats to the US Liberty....that just engaged them....and they put two torpedo in her. But they got the radio transcripts of the patrol boats being dispatched to give aid.
Do believe I it? No
Here is why. Even if the USS Liberty was the Eygptian vessel that the Israeli mistook it for. That attack did not make sense. Israeli forces were already at the Suez Canal, the ceasefire with Egypt was hours away that day. and how many time in naval warefare is a attack made with napalm? The Israeli circled the USS Liberty 8 time prior to the attack, some at low level. The antennea masts on the Liberty stick 30- 4o feet in the air.
Israeli pilots are to good to make such a ID mistake on 2pm on a clear afternoon day.
One thing! The crew of the USS Liberty fought a brave engagement that day. When the 3 patrol boat arrived....it has one machine gun still in operation....and engaged them. With most of the 200 crew dead or wounded, 25-30 of them did fire and water damage control to save the ship. Her Captain was given a Congressional Medal of Honor....many of her crew silver stars.
Just like the USS Liberty will always have questions. The Chonean will as well. But the Chonean was not a friendly fire incidence.

I think that he would put a naval blockade around NKorea. No one in and no one out. Deep water, where the NKorean don't have as much resources to interfere. Even China, Russia, Japan, SKorea, and other SEATO & UN countries could participate.
McCain is former Navy. In a crisis, he would look to the military branch that he knows best.
Which is Obama's problem. Without any military service, he is clueless to the abilities and resources that the military has.
So he is going on the only on recommendations of others. But he had learned. Some, I might say.
He goes to West Point for the graduation service...and tells the Cadets....that Diplomacy and our Military have to co function together to make our foreign policy. He knows without the point of the spear, that the words of the diplomat are soon lost.

TN REP Senator Corker said this "I mentioned that there was a very big disconnect between he saying and his action." And "I asked him how he was able to reconcile that duplicity, coming in today to see us." and "I told him I thought there was a degree of audacity in him
even showing up today after what happened with the financial regulation."
Corker had spent several weeks working with Dodd to bring REP ideas into the the financial reform bill. But was cut short, when the DEM took it to the floor for a vote with Obama's blessing. So he is a little hot. He took alot heat from REPs for working with Dodd on the bill. Got stabbed in the back for doing so. So is his time to friskie

A naval blokade is sure an effective weapon but still some thing is having a naval blokade aorund Cuba which is right aorund the corner of the mighty USA and some thing esle is making a naval blokade around Korea North with mighty China near by and unfortunatily not too cooporativ regarding the NK regim at all.
Obama knows this and if McCain was on power he would suggest doing so of course and would begin a rather angry communication all over the news regarding this matter and keep doing so until North and South Korea began a real war and MCcain,s regim would love this and would enjoy it fully of course and as usual for republican kind of policies.

I am sorry. These professional sports league have high minimum wage set into their players contracts. Often the player has product endorsements, movie and book deals, and other employment opportunity open to them for their playing days.
Each player is represented by his own agent to negotiate these contracts. Often they have a flock of financial advisors to invest their money. They are given sign bonuses in the millions to sign from college to a pro team.
If the word 'affluent' can be given one class of the American population....it is today's professional athlete. They own mega mansions, fly and own private jets, and drive Hummers or other pricey vehicles.
They seldom work a 12 month year....and often have Micheal Vic and Mark McQuires mixed into their ranks. That have learned to cheat their sport with enhanced performance drug use or increase their income with illegal activities.
What in the world, is CONGRESS thinking about????? This bill in both House and Senate.....has mixed support from both DEM and REP.

Hot_Single_Dude: A naval blokade is sure an effective weapon but still some thing is having a naval blokade aorund Cuba which is right aorund the corner of the mighty USA and some thing esle is making a naval blokade around Korea North with mighty China near by and unfortunatily not too cooporativ regarding the NK regim at all.
Obama knows this and if McCain was on power he would suggest doing so of course and would begin a rather angry communication all over the news regarding this matter and keep doing so until North and South Korea began a real war and MCcain,s regim would love this and would enjoy it fully of course and as usual for republican kind of policies.
I am also sure that McCain would be too fast telling some thing regarding this matter and would not be able to talk propperly or beased on all facts regarding this incident and in that way he definately looks like Kim from n Korea and not the most quick guy in the class room at all!

But Obama may have a bigger issues brewing. One that might lead to impeachment charges.
Obama first supported Spectre in the Senate race against DEM Sestack. Sestack claims a unnamed White House staffer contacted him with a offer to a position within the gov't, if he withdrew from the Senate race. But he did not....he won.
BUT.........
The REP are saying that this might be considered 'quid pro qou'. They want to know the name of the staffer and for a investigation
of the Sestack;s claim.
The reason it might touch President Obama for impeachment? Well if he keep the staffer from being named....obstruction of justice.
