I don't smoke and I never will. But it doesn't keep me from hugging a smoker. You will never be able to change him. And you just have to accept that. Just make sure that the only time you stay away is when he lights up because 2nd hand smoke, as you probably well know, is still dangerous. But don't stop hugging him!

I didn't ever tell Dad that because he never really said much to me. But I know he loved me and me him. Now Mom was different. I told her often and until she died at 99 years 10 months!

Yeah, I remember our school skating parties. I came from a small town in Colorado and there wasn't too much entertainment there so we always looked forward to a different social activity.
It's funny, even though I liked to roller skate on my own metal wheel skates on our sidewalks in town I never really got too excited about rinks.

A "flower" can be a sweet (of love) or a kind (of friendship) gesture. One women sent me the "flower" of those candy hearts. I don't think she even knew that the one on top said "Marry Me" but I didn't take it as a proposal because unless you get a magnifying glass you can't make out the writing. And, yes, I would have married her in a second but that wasn't her intention.
Looking at his profile continuously might make him paranoid, but then he may like it. Unless you know for sure I would save that for later if he accepts your "invite" for a relationship.
When I was a kid in school we used to recite stories with the word "porridge" in them. I never really got interested because the word "porridge" was never used here in America. Your blog made me curious so I searched the definition and I saw that it was softened up by boiling it. Oatmeal came up first, but also meal or other legumes in milk or water and made thick.
I had to chuckle because even though I am an American we still use Spanish amongst the family. And we had a word for porridge and it's probably not even proper Spanish but a word we made up. We call it "megurgio" or a "guizo".
I used to feel that way until I read the bible and I learned there are more important things. Sports people, and I used to work for Major League Baseball team, tend to let these games control you.
So, that said, I don't agree with the writer but that's his opinion and he's welcome to it! I am happy he enjoys what he is doing!
