RE: ALL NIGHT DANCE PARTY (Biden & Harris supporters ONLY)

who is the 'stolen' klutz @willngh? Demented?

RE: Stormy Monday...

Clapton on the guitar ... yeah ... but Muddy Waters vocal was something else.

RE: Stormy Monday...

Christchurch, NZ April 30, 1973 Town Hall - Muddy Waters. I was there with soon to be wife#1

RE: I've been voting since 1976

But now is the age of Modern Monetary Theory - governments in the face of covid-19 have discovered they DON'T have to balance the budget, but can give money to the people!

RE: I've been voting since 1976

Ah! reassured.

RE: I've been voting since 1976

Whoops, on re-reading I'm not sure WHAT your view on Carter is! laugh

RE: I've been voting since 1976

@cranky I hold a similar view of Carter - viewed as a failure, but surely the most intelligent man in the office.

RE: Stormy Monday...

But he or they toured in NZ in the 70s

RE: Stormy Monday...

Or maybe it was BB King

RE: Stormy Monday...

Haha have to get the last word in - I'm sure I saw Muddy waters around 1970 in ChCh singing playing this ....

RE: Concerning alleged voter fraud

@acorn BUT I do indeed have a squabble with @vhk

RE: Concerning alleged voter fraud

@acorn fair enough - I have no squabble with you

RE: What a beautiful morning !

@loulou I went shopping today. Surprised how people did not avoid each other - complacency! This is not over by a long way.

RE: What a beautiful morning !

@GB I didn't miss it, I didn't see it. As I said, the quote surely mistook cases for deaths. There are currently 120,000 cases per day in USA and 200,000 is not beyond the realm of possibility, despite claims of 'control'. In Australia there are about 20/day - adjust that per capita, then explain the meaning of 'control'

RE: Concerning alleged voter fraud

@acorn pushing buttons is just pushing buttons, wears out the buttons but what else? The silly chap seems to think repeating stuff controls people. He doesn't even make me angry, just sigh. As a retiree I help people with ESL, he thinks that is reprehensible? How is that defensible? How does that reflect on his intellect, I wonder?

RE: What a beautiful morning !

@loulou
Rickety bones and creaking knees
I rarely go shopping maam, if you please
Wine veg and pork arrives at the door
One knock alone and seldom one more
A loulou a day, I hear
Keeps the doctor away
Blonde hair on the pillow is fine,
Makes the day a lulu indeed
Just pray if you will, to Jesus
The other pillow's head is not

RE: Concerning alleged voter fraud

^gent

RE: Concerning alleged voter fraud

Ah! I see the Brits use the word 'chumming'... so I suggest there is chumming activity in the postal voting - and of course that would be by DT supporters most plausibly.

RE: Concerning alleged voter fraud

Of course any attempt at fraud will be miniscule - or more likely an attempt to introduce doubt by casting berley (that may be an Aussie only word) for the only too willing doubters. You will have (perhaps) seen @Miclee attempting to do that, whilst claiming he doesn't know whether it is true, hmmm

RE: Concerning alleged voter fraud

@OPED you actually believe VHK's absurd claims at monstrous intelligence? How gullible can you be?

RE: Just prior to planting the flag at the summit.....tomorrow ?

Trump will not go to prison. Did Nixon? But then he was pardoned post haste ... Trump will not face trial.

RE: Just prior to planting the flag at the summit.....tomorrow ?

Well his prognosis is mine too - there is no happy ever after in sight. Making America great again is a mirage.

RE: Oh, no!

Where on earth (or off it for that matter) did you learn French?

RE: Oh, no!

@Profile deleted What Both Trump and Four not so tall Cheeses deleted? My cup runneth over. But the thought of you enjoying my lovely runny brie sours the pleasant vision. I must look out for Chilli brie, ripe and runny and fiery hot I hope, and nothing ot a cholesterol threat .. well ...

RE: Trump sez...

@daear what, you cannot read between the lines? Don't they teach that in Hokitika?

RE: Oh, no!

@mic add the word 'concocted' to 'quoted' - that's what I mean by preposterous. the Homer Simpson catchphrase sits well with you: "D'oh!" (/do??/). You actually the numbers are real?

RE: Oh, no!

@mic don't you, yourself, find the quoted numbers preposterous? Don't you question the veracity? mmm, perhaps you don't, perhaps I underestimated your (choose a noun ending in ety ity or ocy).

RE: Just prior to planting the flag at the summit.....tomorrow ?

another issue that can inflate the voting numbers ... many early voters, alarmed by Trumps braying about late votes, have turned up in person and voted; consequently their votes will have been counted twice in the numbers published, but of course will only be counted once in the official tally, since the land of technological genius naturally has vote counting systems which reject second and subsequent votes by registered voters, one assumes ...

RE: Oh, no!

Well in these particular cases the Conservative biases of the bench does not come into play, and the presence of 3 Trump nominated justices is largely irrelevant. Is it an issue of federalism? Are you hoping for another Bush vs Gore?

RE: Trump sez...

@jim the dreadful fact is that the American people also choose to confirm him ... odds are they have.
