@op but I must admit you both disgust me with your 'opinions' and make me laugh at the same time! So I do get some entertainment out of you. Thank you.
And why are you so obsessed with definitions? Effective prevention, reduction, you want a precise definition and if it doesn't fit your prejudices it is not valid, is malevolent? You cherry-pick one definition in a changing world,, one that suits you, and any variation is to be rejected? Strange. What is your goal?
Deal with feminists? Cope with Irony? Oh, so this nonsense is an attempt at irony is it? Yet you are lambasting a kiwi for his gibberish? You do deserve censure for this rubbish!
Deal? Weird idea - people are people. Half the world believes they have rights, and you feel you need to negotiate with them? You cannot cope with the idea of equality?
@OP well clearly one of the problems with immigration is when the tide turns and it is negative. Locked borders and exiting students, rejected Pacific Islander seasonal workers = rotting fruit in a peak harvest season. Australian immigration/refugee policy, has been reprehensible, nothing to be proud of in the least. I won't argue it either way, but one of the Australian by-words has always been 'a fair-go' and it has not been seen here for at least 20 years.
@op well you are nothing if not consistent. Never have you published truth or the credible. Nothing I have seen from you remotely resembles fact. You are a purveyor of nonsense.
@op the only time I looked under the beds was to see what unwanted boxes my then wife had retained - they were many, undoubtedly still so. Under mine is nothing.
@op here in Australia, where we are increasingly atheistic and I rarely if ever meet religious resistance. America is clearly and statistically another kettle of fish. On the blogs aggressive objection is encountered to my total atheism. But that seems to be a feature of America. Personally I have no objections to superstitious beliefs, believe what you will!
It clearly is as arcane as a deep dark hillside mining drive. I recall as a pre-teen (1950s) walking into a long horizontal drive at Hillend (a centre of the goldrush era in NSW around 1850) with my father who seeing, sensing, something not safe, turned and retreated. Actually my memory as a kid was that the whole thing was unsafe from the very first step!
@aluzeda I'm with you, both bodang and op are as clear as mud. There appears to be a wrangle over fishing rights and the rancour is escalating. So there is some squabbling going on.
@MrBo you have a weird idea fo where I want to be./live I have never expressed pro-communist ideas. I just posted an article commenting on events in 1956, without expressing opinion. Strange you think you can leap to opinion based on such words.
What it brings to my mind is the infamous Hungary vs Russia water polo match in November of the 1956 Melbourne Olympics - Blood in the Pool - won by Olympic Champions Hungary 4-0. Then I was 11 and we had no TV but I listened closely on radio throughout the Olympics. Bad blood indeed!
@oped your blog title includes 'lie' - I explain to ESL students that this is a culturally serious thing. Exaggerating is one thing, lying is serious, and men used to go out in the early mornings as a matter of 'honour' and die. Just consider the genius Galois! You will win no satisfaction using that word, I assure you, and it seems particularly inappropriate considering your target. Withdraw!
@mic why waste time on your ilk? Well trying to convince anyone here of anything is futility indeed, but mis/disinformation should be redressed wherever it appears. J.Mikovits included!
@mic Hanban or the Confucius Institute is the Chinese version of the Goethe Institut or Alliance Francaise. It is the soft diplomacy of a country. All are a kind of propaganda. They spread kultur language and history knowledge across the globe, and of course it is not a free lunch. Xenophobia interferes though, doesn't it?
@oped You obsessively post ANTI-science ANTI-logic ANTI-expertise opinion here. People like you NEED to be rebutted. I am unhinged? Look at yourself in the mirror. I am not pro-China. But I am against unthinking anti-China sentiment. I am opposed to some policies in Australia, America, Russia, China, etc etc, but I am not against any country as a whole. I am however against your anti-science anti-expert views continually written here.
