... and oh I see there's an upside kiwi genius lampooning the covid blogs ... they do crawl out of the woodwork, don't they. Being one of the aging 'at risk' I face an annual pneumonia and a flu booster later this year as autumn wanes. No big deal, walk-in, swipe the shouji, shrug and bear it.
...and what's more, I walked in to the local pharmacy to get my free booster/5th shot - a blend of two vaccines, partly pfizer. The pharmacist administering the shot cautioned me 'this one will hurt tonight' and I replied after the shot 'that's a tiny injection ... a ml I guess' 'no, just 0.3 mls'. He was absolutely right about the arm that night, very sore, and sleep was difficult. The ache had disappeared within 24 hours
Suggesting an American finger in the PNG pie is way over the top. The PNG government needs no help in doing it to themselves, shortchanging their own police force. Naturally the locals especially targetted Chinese businesses, looting and burning as they did in the Fiji unrest, likewise in Indonesian, Malaysian and historical Australian troubles.
On the book front, why not try Canadian Margaret Attwood's The Handmaid's Tale - published in 1985 and adapted into the great TV series of the same name. Gripping stuff, and she is a great writer, having won two Booker Prizes amongst many other prizes.
And this is a prime example of your inane meaningless remarks. What is the first context, pray tell, and the condescending 'old son', chappie? Meaningless words, chum, piffle, feller. Lift your game, 'mate'!
Escalation. Termination of Treaties. Non-termination or Non-withdrawal.
No new wars was more an accident of the time period than anything else. It certainly was not the outcome of clever policy and diplomacy, nor of reduced arms exports.
...and the true problem is not Trump, it is that 30% of the American voting population is so gullible and dupable as to believe him or so perverse as to follow him disbelievingly anyway, yet they are the world's foremost nation. Pity the world!
No, and nor should we. It is crucial that this ogre never hold power again. Speaking up and speaking out are our only weapons. Have you seen his two-tongued two-faced words on termination/abortion? One of his strongest skills is bald-faced hypocricy
Just a clarification on divorce and the Philippines. Although there may be no divorce in the PI that does not apply in another country. You can marry in the Philippines and divorce in your country. Any laws that there may be relating to adultery in PI, likewise do not apply abroad.
@OP of course that didn't answer my question at all, skirting around it I assume. In other words, since you totally missed the point, is the concept of 'heaven' necessary for the followers of Christianity? Do you need a heaven, and/or a hell, or can you just go with some vague notion of a furry thing called GOD and live following the words of the man Christ?
Well @op, when bloggers here start commenting at length and drawing replies on THIS topic in another crasser sexist thread about tiles and carpets and getting laid as tiles are (or layed, have it as you will), which pray tell is the runaway? This or That? Parallel tracks?
@op they'll deny it, say they only did what everyone else did, and there is sure to be bad blood and hints of prejudice. If you are boiling mad I suggest barge poles are in order, and it could be left to others to pass on the word. We could yet have a Fargo season 5 there in your workplace!
Personality is not a constant, like the first 20 digits of pi, but the sum total of observable behaviour, which likewise is variable, subject to context, mood, circumstances, even whim. What you speak of is in no way at all MPD or DID, just natural variability. Consistency may be a feature of one person, and inconstancy of another.
How had you 'labelled' them? Was there anything to show they were a gift for sharing? In fact it is not really about Christmas at all, but about sharing, consideration, greed, gluttony, selfishness. Label them next time. Don't speak to these guys, but drop a word for others who might. I suspect it is nothing cultural or customary, rather thoughtlessness or greed, and perhaps thinking they were given by management.
the pencil moustache Errol Flynn and Clark Gable perhaps most famously. New year's day 1994 I had mine shaved off. Now with a broken shaver 30 years later I have resumed only to discover how inconvenient they are with congee, potage, bisques, chowder, borscht. If only I can find another tall lean Kanuck Chinese woman to hold me down, sit on my chest and shave it off, it'll be a goner again. Not bloody likely though, is it!?
Of course that's the famous dissolute and deceased Errol, no resemblance whatsoever to me!
