How much more strain would a "compare post to previous by same user" add to the servers?
It's just not necessary to have the issue of double posts, since they are due to delay over the net and the user clicking twice or more on the Post button.
If it is too much, why not change the code to deactivate the Post button as soon as it have been clicked once?
The latter is less precise, a post could get lost, why I think a simple content comparison between last post and sent post would be the best solution.
It will in the end save DB space, energy, and ultimately some trees somewhere.
I really think, and it is important in the very case you mention, that each family makes up their own mind.
It may very well be the bills, but just as much opinion, life style and ongoing career that plays in.
I do not believe in forcing both parents to be sharing it, that does not make sense, forced equality is ridiculous as it only creates a "contra force"...
Four months is better than three, but three is already good. A law makes sure employers will have to adjust and allow for it without damage to the position of the parent on leave.

His soul is on a journey somewhere, we do not exactly know to describe it as we never come back, its a continuous journey we all will do.The more you help him in cherishing him on on that journey the more comfortable it will be for him.
