Wherever I Lay My Hat... Does the foreign world attract?

I think we figured that out a while ago already laugh

Good to see you, mate wine

Wherever I Lay My Hat... Does the foreign world attract?

That's very different, caution in care for others and your own well being, is a healthy thing.

I am more inclined to see it as a love of life itself and its members. Loneliness is not an option as it needs you to close out curiosity and lust for experience.

Funny thing, many expats seem to have a better relation and more frequent dialogues with there loved ones back from home than members of families all living in the same town. How is that? laugh

Wherever I Lay My Hat... Does the foreign world attract?

You live as I've done and that was the option for me, for even when I do return "home" to my roots, I feel like a mere visitor.

I am more attracted by the journey and its destination than my point of departure. I could never "return home" as it would most probably strangle an important vein in my person.

Settle down is not an issue, I've been stationary for more than 5 years now, but I thrive on the new, the exotic and the unknown in a way that is best fed by travels, be it beyond the next hill to next town or past an ocean to a new world.

wine to this world with all its colours and differences.

RE: Vegetarianism-yes or no?

That's when there are no options, even to a Buddhist it would have been kosher ( conversing laugh ) since they did not actually kill anyone to get food on the table.

It's good life tomorrow is unknown to us today...

RE: Short Neurological Test

I don't really like to forward messages as they tend to clog the internet, but this is a really great thing to pass on, as they test two things, literacy and understanding of a foreign language (!!)

Dirty help

Great local people, but close your eyes as you go traveling along the roads, they completely missed the thing about landscape and its beautification.

Try the tea, ride a camel, find a friend and visit the bazaars.

RE: money

Set up a trust fund and let every year decide where the tick should go if anywhere.

NGOs and their alike got a bit of a trouble at times channeling funds, better not give all to one single receiver.

It would not change my personal life much though dunno

RE: What are you afraid of?

Polish women... uh oh

RE: Wedding rings...

Holiday is my preferred day, any week. Workday would be the opposite.

RE: U.S. Taxpayers money paying child soldiers in Somalia...

It can become misleading adding two different statements together like that.

Ratification of the treaty is one thing.

The financing of child-soldiers is something very different.

Loads of countries and organisations got the dilemma of wither to help or not, if they do not help, people suffer, if they do help - well, risk is that some of that funding will be diverted to the wrong hands.

All the helping world have been responsible in funding child-soldiers, not US only. This is a sad truth and daily obstacle in getting people on their feet to get out of their traps.

Put blame where blame should be - kids should be kids and anyone against put in the corner of shame.

An now -

US - RATIFY YOUR OWN TREATY GOD DAMMIT
You signed it, now bring it home very mad

RE: Good Lord..............

Wrong, you can find him/her/it (it? conversinguh oh ) anywhere - the needle in a haystack apply everywhere. Staying out of haystacks way only limits chances, that's all.
