We are not generally 'afraid' of the future, but can experience a state of anxiety towards the future. Anxiety usually originates from the general insecurity a person feels in their life. The level of insecurity, therefore the level of anxiety is mainly a function of a persons particular history. The more troubled one's environment, family of origin and cultural setting, the more free floating anxiety will be generated. In an extreme state of anxiety, a person can experience dread when faced with almost any changeable situation. In a milder form, anxiety can create an unease towards the future...most of us at times suffer from that to some degree.
I noticed in the papers last year, we were warned of, 'the beast from the east' when than usually would have been called a cold easterly wind. Also they decided to change, "expected snow storm" to, "be prepared for a snow bomb!!!" I think they like to scare us...
That sounds unlikely to me Jac. How could a handful of terrorists keep watch on over 270 passengers to ensure none of them were texting...just not possible.
Given the fact that no text messages or phone calls were made by the 270 or so passengers on board, logic would suggest there must have been a sudden and catastrophic incident which brought the plane down, probably into the ocean.
How would hijackers have prevented so many people from relaying their plight by cell phone?
A few pics from this my Easter weekend.
I took these off my facebook page.
