I've never had any problems with Skype, and I've been using it for over 7 years now. I think it's one of the best things about the internet overall, next to access of information.
Can't understand why someone would be afraid to use it, unless they have something to hide.
I had planned on going to the US, but checked my passport and it had expired, just. I thought I had another year left on it, amazing how fast 5 years goes by.
No, I wouldn't miss snow if I never saw it again. I have internet access and there's always postcards if I want to remember what it looks like.
Another 4 cm today, but it's been melting during the day, so things are improving. Another few weeks and it'll all be gone, thankfully, seeing as I have nowhere left to shovel or pile it anymore.
Parts of it would be similar, same for New Zealand, although I've never been to either. It's more parts of BC and the east coast, just seen a lot of pictures sent from friends, back and forth.
I'll just say this now, if you plan to see it all, plan on spending a half a year or so travelling, at a minimum. It's a HUGE country, compared to Scotland, or Eire, England.
It's been sad for a while, but that isn't so much reflected by this thread.
Still a lot of places I'd like to go, and go back to again, but I have been to 2 more that I wanted to see in the last year, Ireland and Holland, and hopefully I get the chance to get out for another trip again soon.
What gives you the idea I dislike anything British, where do you get that from?
If you want to discuss Portugal, Spain, or any other conquering nations, please feel free to start a thread. Who knows, I might even comment on it.
So would you be one of those that vote yes for their return to their rightful home? As far as saving them, they weren't the Turk's property to give to anyone, and seeing as it was mere war looting, and the Greeks weren't exactly in a place to argue, your argument is moot.
What government isn't corrupt, at least to some degree? Do you really believe that if they were to get these national treasures home, that they wouldn't be taken care of? After the efforts that have been made to get them back, from those that purchased them from a co-conspirator in war looting? Really?
Of course, we should all respect those that somehow aquire things that don't actually belong to them, no matter if it's by dubious means.
I'm sure you'd like that Tommy, but I don't see it happening.
As I said, someone's ego is bruised.
Others can read the thread and make up their own minds.
RE: Does the personality one has on Skype represent one's true personality?
I'm NOT falling for that trick again.
