You are warm and empathic with a heightened awareness of social responsibility and a strong sense of conscience. You like to carefully weigh up the pros and cons of a situation before you act and are generally averse to taking risks. You are very much a ‘people person’ and dislike conflict. ‘Do unto others…’ are your watchwords. But, although you avoid hurting others, those residing at the higher end of the psychopathic spectrum might not be as considerate, so stay vigilant to avoid being hurt unnecessarily.
Same here in Canada, and it's been that way for at least 20 years, likely longer, but marketers always find a way around it, legally, to make room for "less than" products to be allowed to be named as such.
Personally, I think the only way you'll know exactly what you're eating is to grow it yourself, or get it from someone you know.
If the British government were made up of honourable people, they would return the stolen pieces, but sadly, I can't see that happening.
There are others that like to trifle over legalities and possession, but even they know what is right, regardless of whether they'll admit it.
The British Empire has a lot to answer for, and this is one of the only instances I do truly wish there was a god of some sort, just to make sure the appropriate parties pay for their "sins". Same goes for any other nation or group that inflicts a multitude of harm on another group or nation.
There are many strong arguments against having religious people involved in governance, anywhere, in any nation, including the so called free states in the west.
George says different, and he must be right, seeing as he's more popular the any Lord Elgin or government around the world.
Still, I see it as theft, regardless of what any government has to say, and it would be the same for Egyptian artifacts, as well as of any other nation. Send it back to the culture where it originated from, it'd go a long way towards instilling good relations among the peoples of the world.
In saying that, maybe the US should also give back all the oil it's stolen across the globe, or make reparations for it. Canadians would be filthy rich if that happened.
Hmm, dunno, does she have big muscles and a moustache as well?
No, I don't find women to be intimidating, strong or otherwise. I do however question what the meaning of a strong woman actually is. Some are, but maybe don't fit your description, and some are merely masquerading as strong women, but are more similar to that of your OP.
Perhaps you're not aware that Christmas was actually a Pagan holiday/festival, celebrating winter solstice, and was hijacked by Christianity. Much the same for Valentine's Day, if you actually want to start quoting history.
I don't hate either holiday, but certainly don't celebrate the commercial aspects of them.
Before the Rain, from 1994, subtitled, and well worth watching.
Also a 6 part documentary about the end of Yugoslavia as an entity. Also worth watching, if you're into history at all. Especially so for me, seeing as it's recent history, and having had friends over there as part of a UN peacekeeping force.
Next is a doc from Australia, Dirty Business, on the mining industry.
RE: Greatest Metal Band ever?
Have you listened to Halford, recent solo stuff?I can't pick a fave, and not sure I'd class Zeppelin as "heavy metal", but that would probably be my favorite band, period.
