I'm guessing about 48 hours...I'd have electricity, seeing as I have generators, but I wouldn't be able to chat with anyone online, and I'd lose my marbles. although, I could always tie my neighbours up in chairs, and force them to listen to the renovations ideas, and the merits of Skyjack and Genie lifts.
Ooooh, I just realised how unattractive some of my Skype conversations could come across to the other side.
Ahem...anyway...
In your next life, what/who would you like to come back as?
I'm thinking back about 20 years ago, one was a friend that had just split up with his g/f, and he was out on the prowl. He had a shirt made up at the mall, and wore it to the bars/clubs. It worked for him, at least once, although, alcohol may have contributed to that liason.
I don't think it was a bad idea either, sometimes meeting right away works the best.
There have been several people that I've chatted with on here for months, or even years, then disappeared overnight. Then a few had the audacity to get mad when I was over there visiting earlier this year, and I didn't make it top priority to see them. Not that I wouldn't have met some of them, but what do people expect when they disappear, without a word?
You're right, I don't know you personally, all I see is what you post on the firums, and that's what I base my conclusions on. It's not labels, calling names, it's just what I see you portray yourself as.
It's up to you to change that perception, unless you like having the world see you as a knuckle dragger.
You're right, I wouldn't fit in with morons like yourself, but thankfully you're not representative of the majority of the people in your country. There are a lot of good people in the US, I just don't class you as one of them.
Yes, temporarily anyway, but it would be at a higher cost to the consumer than what you're used to. There is a huge supply, but it isn't cheap to get it out of the ground, like it is from the middle East, or just piping it from Canada.
The biggest concern id poor fracing practices, contaminating ground water and endagering people's safety. It's a gamble to oil companies, profits vs. what they can get away with, and they let very little stand in the way of profits.
What's worse than anything is, oil companies have a lot of influence in government in the US, and likely the same in Alberta, so they get away with a lot more then they should.
