What people do in their own country or their own homes is not my business. Of course, if the neighbor beats on his wife, I'll call the cops in a heartbeat but who I'm I to decide if a custom or the way someone thinks is "wright" or "wrong" ?
I know what I want in a relationship and that's what I'm looking for, someone who knows that EVERYTHING should be equal. It's hard to find a woman who doesn't have a chip on her shoulder, especially nowadays and especially in the West but I have found a few who thought the same, so there is hope. There will be disagreements, that's a given. That's when reason should take over both partner's ego's.
And yes, gals, it's also hard to find a guy who doesn't have a chip on his shoulder too, of course, everything on might say about a woman goes for a man too, duh, we're all human!
We've become a complacent society. We think what happens next door will not happen to us and as long as we have a wallet with money in it and some Football, well...
I think nothing will be organized, JMO , it will be random and senseless and as usual, the good will pay for the mistakes of the bad ones.

There is always something to loose if it is but your life. I don't know if it means mass riots or not ( probably yes ) but average people's lives are less and less needed, yes.
It is not nice to hope for the hard times of billions of people but I see your point. Every human system is and will remain flawed. We're like chickens running without a head ( saw that once, it was actually funny ) only the death of our civilization will be drawn out over decades.
That Apache Chief was right, he knew something we didn't know or didn't want to admit in our vanity.
As for us who see past the illusions of this world, we shall embrace eternity with the cries of infants and the power of gods, so don't worry much, my friend, those who want to eat money will be satisfied, they have already received their rewards indeed but ours has been waiting for us since the beginnings of time. Let events take place as they have to take place and let us worry about each other!
Well, we will all pay for our iniquities, no doubts about that, but I don't believe "He" is as cruel as that, I think we as human beings have surpassed any cruelty "he" might have had in mind. "He" LOVES us! We are one step ABOVE all the angels, if we could put that into our hard cranial boxes, we might have a chance still !!!
Now, now... Don't be so gloom and doom. Everything that has a beginning must have an end but we, my friend, will carry on unto eternity and everlasting life.... Oops, sorry, that's if you believe in that sort of thing!
I do, and I have faith that my journey on earth is but a taste of all the good things to come. And if it isn't true, then why all the hoopla?
pedrolol, I think you're right, it is scary and it is too bad for our kids and grand kids. But think of it this way : not everything is permanent, our civilization has had a good run and we were incapable of sustaining ourselves without destroying our environment. Now what intelligence in the universe would let a virus run it's course while it is destroying the living thing it's growing on?
