The "good guys" aren't so much in short supply as you might think. There are a lot of women who dump a good guy for one silly reason or another, one of them might have been destined for you, who know? There has been so much said about men in the past 20 years that one has the feeling that we're all jerks, hence your "good guys left" comment. Surely you, as others, are destined to meet your guy. Patience, patience.
It takes patience and....patience. Some of us have been single for years, just waiting for that "special" one to come along with REAL love in her heart and a good head on her shoulders! Don't settle on anyone just because you need to be with someone. Be into yourself, find out who YOU are. You're not the only woman who hasn't found her "prince", he's out there somewhere and often not as far as you might think!
If you feel like it's more give than take, you should distance yourself and see if he comes around. If he cares for your friendship, he'll contact you, and if not, then you'll be sure of how he stands.
Seems you have not come to full realization and consequences of his cheating on you. You love him and that's great but does he love you as much? You need to ponder on a few things your feelings are bringing up and I'm sure a decision will come up. Anyone can tell you dump him because he cheated and while it might sound right, it might also not be a solution, especially if he really loves you and you him. Talk to him and find out why he did that. Find out if he REALLY loves you.
All crimes are equal in my view, but if I had to chose one worst than another I'd have to say murder, because when you murder someone, you take away all they ever gonna do, all the ever gonna say and all they ever gonna be.

NO, you have not posted anything like that. I think you know better than doing that. And NO, not all the time of course. That answer to Daniel might have been, yes, a sweeping generalization... I do indulge in them once in a while, yes, I'm guilty of it too. Read my posts and you will find out I usually put things like "we" and "us" in them, because I think that I'm no better than anyone else here. Also, I'm the one who posted that thread about generalizations, so I do understand your point. I do have some reasons to have said that, but I don't dwell in the negative, never helped anyone.
I agree in part with your point, BUT, sometimes there are some big BUTS and you ahve to pay attention to those BUTS, especially when those BUTS turn out to be flags, then you might want to run and save your BUT !!!
We take some and we give some. Yes, it might have been a generalization, so what, I'm not the only one guilty of it and at least I don't put it as a thread denigrating Men in general.
