Have I gotten that speech wrong? Or is the Judge really sitting on the fence of this issue? He minds the negative attributes of alcohol but approves of the possitives, that's sitting on the fence...
Alcohol is known as a depressant and to some professionals as a class A narcotic. Why is it still legal?
The "days of the prohibition" argument does not wash in my view since Marijuana and the "war on drugs" has put us in prohibition days since it has been outlawed.
How can he be a murderer when he was quited? Unless you mean to say that our laws work only in one direction and matters only when someone is found guilty but not when someone is found innocent. I'm not saying he's not guilty, just saying he was found innocent. Now he IS a thief and a kidnapper... Or he still might be found innocent, again ! LOL
It takes a while to be able to ask certain questions to a mate and there is an amount of time that will allow those questions to be asked. Obviously by the time a couple gets married those questions are or should be resolved, but as far as a relationship those questions are usually answered in the course of dating and being close to the person. If one or the other is hesitant to ask or if one or the other is hesitant to answer then obviously the relationship needs a little more time and openness to bloom into a long term one.
Isn't the point of a relationship to share lots of moments with your partner? I do understand the need for privacy once in a while and I always make it clear to my dates that I like my privacy and I expect to have it when I need it.
Six months of being a bachelor and you're already throwing the towel? C'mon dude, 6 months is nothing. Try 1 or 2 years then maybe you can complain!!
Use this time to improve or refine yourself, identify the qualities that a woman would value. Work hard, save money, get to know yourself... All those things that an adult should have in order for a potential mate to feel comfortable dating you...
Because when I get home from work, I like to relax and get into an intelligent conversation with my mate...What we do afterwards is none of your business...

It is true that laws do not prevent people from bad choices, but doesn't that make the argument against Marijuana moot?
