All the 'National Plans' have various options of enrollment, Suzie. The plan Biden's supports has four different options to participate. But this vastly less than the number of present plans avialable today from health insurance companies. And by law....everyone has to participate in a National Plan.

Everything I have seen about Barak Obama tells me, he is a Christian. He manner and his speech. His tone and inflection of voice. He is a gentle man and a gentleman. If you ask the question in a certain manner....you get certain results that are expected form what I have seen.
For instance.....if a liberal media......sponsors a poll.....and it directs that poll taking company to ask the question....would you support Obama?
The poll company would run the poll and come back with a high percentage saying they would. They give the info to the media firm....
The media firm goes to programing saying'a recent poll on Obama support show ___% would support him.'

Who are we electing to be president? Who are we voting on Michelle or Obama? If Michelle is this powerful a presence to Obama....maybe she should be vetted as well. Yet Obama is asking for hand offs.
When FDR became sick....in the later part of his Presidency.....his wife controlled the White House. The power and decisions did not flow to VP Truman at the time. We were at war. She made war time decisions effecting the outcome of the war. You say how.....remember the movie Tuskagee Airmen? The story of black pilots in the Air Corp? She supported that program.

When Katrina hit......many of those helo and military units that aided.... were National Guard units from all the various states. They deploy in Iraq and Afghanistan....they do the same training as our regular forces....and have to meet the same standards....they use the same equipment......they take the same risk of a Regular Army, Navy, Air Force or Marine Corp service member in defending your country.
You want to attack Palin when she has led units of the Alaska National Guard, fine ..... but realize you dimish the military of your country....men and women that place themselves into harm way for you when you do. Palin was a commander in chief as Govenor of Alaska.

That I have mentioned with respect in the past...a woman fighter pilot in Afghan, a young army female medic that got the silver star in Iraq, Mrs. Bhutto of Pakistan, and women in Iraq that placed their thumbs in the ink well the first time they voted. I have tried to do it with respect and honesty.
I began to think of what Sarah Palin's nomination and election to be the US VP might mean to these women around the world. Some that have placed thier lives into harms way, some that have died because of thier political views and some that are risking alot by supporting a democratic process in thier country.
Started to think about what a rejection of the McCain/Palin ticket meant to them as well.
Over 3 billion women live in today's world. They have cracked the gender glass ceilings from being astronauts, to politicians, to soldiers, to military commanders, to doctors, to educators in countries around the world. Few get to be where Sarah Palin is today.
American woman are in a very unique place. If they vote for a McCain/Palin ticket...the message they send to the women of the world and thier daughters...is anything in the world is within your reach and to keep striving for it.
Setting aside your personal views of religion, to right to life, to NRA, to coming from a small community for a moment. Is that not the message that American women should send?
If on the other hand, American women reject the McCain/Palin ticket. The message that is sent to the women of the world, is just the opposite. That in your support a ticket of Obama/Biden, a canidate that also rejected and did not even vet Hillary Clinton a woman with some 18,000,000 supporters. Says what to the women of the world?
That is why I say your position is so very unique. It is a once in a life time decision that American women get to make.
I cannot make that decision for you whether of greater importance is promotion of womanhood in the world is more important than the issues I asked you to set aside. I just ask that you conisder this. Because I have yet to hear it as a issue mentioned in the media.
Sarah Palin might not be your cup of tea. But surely she is a cup a tea to millions of other women. And surely she will know the issues of women better than either Obama or Biden. American Ladies, you are in a very unique place in history. With out a swing from the Hillary moms to support the McCain/Palin ticket....likely they will be rejected.
This is a really tough choice for you. I recognize that. The question I have did Obama recognize that in his rejection of Hillary? He could have gained your support by simply bringing Hillary on the ticket. The vetting you should be looking for at this time. Is his vetting of Joe Biden. Was it a 'good old boy vetting' of one page? Was it a hand shake done 4-6 months ago in some backroom? It would tell you a lot, Ladies.
Polls are polls. Everyone got one. How good they are and the quality of the date is hard to say.
A vote in Idaho, is like a vote in Chicago. Unless the Dems and left PC wants do with it like they did with the FL and MI deligates......count them in 1/2 to get a certain canidate nominated.

How closely do you think a governor in a state like Alaska would work with their National Guard? Likely a near daily basis would you not say? All those missions, those guys do up there, all need to be approved by someone.

Sure I know it is also foreign relations and foreign diplomancy.
But here is how I see it.
Most of the goods, food, and exports of Alaska flow all long the AlCAN highway. Keeping that open in the winters up there is tough. Now agreed US and Canada relation are like milk and honey compared to some. But it takes a pretty good coordinated effort managed by her to do it. She already has expereince in foreign relationship with Canada over the AlCAN operations.
Lastly imagine, if she is elected. They send her on a 'get to know you tour' of Europe, Middle East and Far East for several weeks. Like the Obama traveling good time show of earlier. Only she is in office and in power. What she says now has some real impact and weight. That is major foreign diplomantic credits for the McCain Administration.
Obama has already shot his bullet here. Now it is shuttle diplomancy for him. Anything that he did, can be passed by Sarah in office. She can go abroad, take the positions of McCain and staff are developing on foreign policy.....and be in the same position like C. Rice has been the last 4 years. With all the sprackle and glitz of Obama's tour.
You don't beat up on a American woman even in the foreign press and certainly not in the high diplomatic circles. Remember how the world reacted to C. Rice treatment in the Sudan? Bingo. She can get things and coalition building on issues and areas we cannot image.
Biden going on a foreign introduction tour is like saying....here want to wear a pair of my old shoes and see if they fit. Biden is well known by them with his length on the foreign service committee.
Wait till OReilly finishes the interview and the discussion with Obama on the Ayers, Wrights, Pflegers relationships.
Libs will be attacking Palin so hard to keep Obama looking a choir boy.....and Americans will see it.
