Wish to know why I am against the Dems Dude. Is simple. They forgot over the last 6 years to be Americans first. When the Dem flipped on the war....they forgot all the times....that the Republican had supported them during wartime. Kerry is a fine example of that. He will rant on GWB and the war in Iraq. But when the Dems were in power for say WWII, the Rep backed them to the hilt. Kerry and Obama....have used the issue of Iraq for political advancement. In doing so Kerry more than Obama were basically disloyal. At least Obama was honest about it from the beginning? The manner in which Kerry and the flip floppers changed course, gave many in the world ammunition against a wartime adminstration.
They mention that GWB has done unilatrol military operations. Well Iraq was intially 4 countries that grew to 32 countries. Afghanistan was suppose to be a NATO operation after 9/11....but none of the NATO countries came for 3 years.1 So GBW fault? or the worlds fault? or the flip flopper dissension here in the US that caused these coliation from building better?
Exactly. The flip floppers gave NATO and the world an out (a way not to make a stand and commitment) on Iraq. They also would give NATO and the world an out on Georgia. On Afghanistan. On Northern Africa. On South Phillipine Islands. On the Horn of Africa. And on Iran.

My county here in Florida is the 6th fastest growing county in the country. There are 2200 counties in the country. The county registered 1400 new Dem and 401 new rep.....only 1801 new voters this last year.
What am saying is that......the Dem have been saying we have all these new registered voters......but thier primary totals compared to thier 2004 Presdiential total is not saying that.
With a primary that was between Hillary and Obama.....they still fell some 10 million short of thier Turn out for GWB/Gore of 2004.
Also the voter pool for the entire country today is larger than it was 2004.....guessing here.....by 15m.
So? Add it all up......and why did they not surpass their 2004 Presidential turn out in the 2008 Primaries? They should have hit 50+ million.
I know what local reports are saying, Sky. A news paper here in my county could say the samething.....1400 new Democractic voter in the primary year for the Dem. What I saying....is if 1000 of those are relocates and were already Democratic someplace else......then they are not new Dems. Most place don't strike you form the poll registries till you been gone over a year. But if that happened here, you really only had 400 new Dem voters.
That would explain why they fell short of the 2004 turnout. A new voter....is likely to turnout for the primary and the general. But the numbers are not adding up. With the amount of 'new voters' being registered the Dem should have equaled or surpassed thier 2004 Presidential turnout in the primaries. So I see a snow job.
From Obama's position...it can make sense.....Obama is developing this concept Dem 'synergy'....getting out the young and disinfranchised voter...but if most of the 'new Dem Voters' are in reality 'old Dem that relocated and re-registered', and they adding them into their data base....you can get numbers that are inflated badly. But if you are trying to build 'synergy' and show 'numbers', wouldn't you go with inflated numbers?

I think what tehy are doing is taking all new registeration as counting them as new voters. That is not so.....many are registerging because of relcoations.....we are a very fluid society.....the claim for all these new Dem voters....might be a only shadows

They have a orgnaization group within the DNC.......keeping them solid in the resistance to his formal nomination.....and trying to get Hillary on the ticket. Senator Biden.......in his chair of our Foreign Service Committee has made ONE hearing on the Iraq war and none on Afghanistan. The Dem sit in Congress complaining about them both.......and a Dem Chair.....keeps anyone them from having a hearing on them. Biden set the schedule of the Foreign Service Committee up so it would help Obama get nominated and to keep the American public in the dark about what was going in Iraq.
See those hearing are 'sworn testimony'.......without 'sworn testimony' to the events....the Dems and far left could make up any story of Iraq that they wanted to without any contridictions or opposing testimony that swon under oath to be true.

Personally I think that the IRS can attempt to do anything that they wish to. But non profit status to Church related organizations have a long time history in our country. That most courts will find the IRS ruling being biased and unwarranted. Consider the difficulty of the IRS to prove a chruch to be 'intervening in political campaigns and eletions'. With a attendance of 3,500 in a say a county wide or state wide election, they are a small percentage of the vote.
But don't kids yourself......this adminstration has played hardball with political opponets here in the US. They have pressed the Federal attroneyes office to investigate Dems and voter fraud on a unpresident scale. So that the IRS might have been been requested to do this....would not surprise me.

What is the Christian Science Monitor (a magazine) had hosted the Q&A? Would the questions regarding faith and faith related issues been that much different?
Each has been standing before various groups of the US. Making their best claims for the Presidency. Both attended the Jewish AIPC and did Q&A there. They attended the National Uraban League, a black group. The VFW (veterans group).Just because they do a Q&A for a particular group.....does not mean that group has placed them into a compromised position.
What you are saying is that any of the 'groups' could have influence on thier decisions. Yes they do. Don't think that any President that is faced with a issue of Isreal......does not contact the AIPAC leader for a opinion? Or a President faced with a issue of the inner city...contact the National Urban League President for a opinion? Or a President facing a question of veteran health issues...contact the VFW Chairman? That is exactly what you want by the way. They way infomred and balanced decisions are made with the group involved.
Sure they do. They get input from those involved in the decision and thier positions on it. The Christian right....or just the Christian community is part of the country. They should have a voice and be offererd the chance to Q&A the Presidential candidates. But that does not mean that group will control the office after one is elected.
These are strong PACs that have millions of voters, tax payers and supporters in them, each. For the canidates to back out of a Q&A with them......well is going to cost the votes.
