RE: This is a waste of my time, online dateing.

Why not? It is just another medium. But agreed, usually find something/someone, when you're not really 'looking'. Just be yourself, and enjoy your time here. Or else, take a break and come back. Nothing is gained in a negative frame of mind. Even in cyberspace.wave

Ah gilly, then it must be 'Perspiration', right? (you know the saying: 'success is 10% inspiration, and 90% perspiration') laugh

RE: I'm so excited

Congratulations!

If you ever want to come and work in Australia, we are in desperate need of good support workers for people with special needs. I do a lot of work with adults with acquired brain injury, and with dual/multiple disabilities, and there is such a demand. They're even being taken from India. Keep it in mind!

Hi Claayer. wave I hope you were both very drunk. I'm shivering at the very thought!laugh

RE: Sunddy,an old love of yours would call you, after 10 years (You really haven't gotten over yet..)

Ten years is a long time. Time enough for people to possibly grow and mature. It is possible that this man has done just that. You will not know until you do meet with him. If you are not yet over him, then even more reason to go through this process, and allow yourself to achieve some closure. If more than that occurs, even better. Give it a chance though. All the best.

RE: The interview, very profound

I looked but couldn't find anything obvious to create hyperlinks with. Only advice from here is to contact CS directly. But I will try below by placing the 'underline' mode in. However, I doubt that will do it as it is purely underlining, not hyperlink. I know there is facility with yahoo to do it, but this isn't yahoo. Here goes...

yes, I did. I will try and create a hyperlink, which is what I think you are looking for.wave

Oh, great. That's heartening about the internet cafes being everywhere. One place I won't worry about the internet is when I'm soaking up the sun in capri. I have an 'aunt' who lives in this fabulous apartment with marble staircases and huge arched arabic style windows, up the staircases. One of the balconies faces the direction of capri, and on a clear day, you can actually see the island. Can't wait!

RE: The interview, very profound

It's often the way when you're in a rush. Things don't go always smoothly. What you can do is erase the entire url address up on the url bar at the top, for now, and simply type in the address you want after the www.

That will be just as easy. then click 'enter'.

RE: Defitnitly NOT what you expect. Very profound really!

When the weather warms up, after I return from holidays, I will replace all the grass, or most of it, in my backyard, with large limestone/sandstone pavers. That deals with the lawn mower issue once and for all!laugh

RE: The interview, very profound

Look at the top of your computer screen.
Where it says 'http://www.................."

RE: The interview, very profound

that is, I used the copy/paste that I described, directly on the url address on the window as per your posting

wave

RE: The interview, very profound

I did it straight from your posting on this forum

RE: Defitnitly NOT what you expect. Very profound really!

Hi, I just replied with solution. It worked for me

wave

RE: The interview, very profound

Hi hollangirl. I just tried it and it works fine. What you need to do is to left click on the mouse to highlight the url address(don't bother about highlighting the 'www', you can leave that out. Then you right click on mouse and click 'copy. Then go to the url address bar, and right click on the mouse, and click 'paste' It will appear and presto!

Let me know, but as I said, it just worked for me. Must go back to look at it. Thanks!

That's probably why I planted my native garden at the front of my home. It goes well with the huge river red gum tree, the rainbow lorikeets, and yep, any weeds that care to join the foliage!!!

Hi, Thank you so much for dropping in and sharing such fabulous news about how two people can uplift each other so marvellously. Truly inspirational to knwo. That is what I believe relationships are about, and in particular between couples. I wish you both happiness into the beyond....love

That is so clever, and so absurdly true. What idiotic things we do every day on this dear, wonderful planet of ours. It (planet) has to put up with so much! frustrated

So you've been on holidays? How nice for you. Hope you've had a realxing and fun time. Do you start work on Monday? I leave for my 3 weeks away, this coming Saturday, off to Italy . It's all whizzing by so fast, though before I know it, I will be back. I hope to be able to log in sometime, but I have no idea what internet access I will at my ready disposal.

Enjoy your being back at work!

Yes, that's another lovely side to the forums, I'm finding. Out of the blue, from across the globe, some wonderful women out there to relate to and form bonds with. That is special. I think the universe is so open to this kind of relating. We each send out our thoughts and emotions into the big pool out there, and some of us connect in a really nice way.
