Hey cards, don't rush into it, otherwise you will run the risk of making a 'monkery' of relationships
Seriously though, take your time . Check out the best monasteries. As you know, monks make the best liquers, and they have all the secret recipes. Infiltrate, but do it sensitively
Hi cards, lots of good advice being given to you. All I'd like to add is, as long as that person is being completely honest, and not playing mind/emotional games, then just see where it all leads If there is obvious 'discomfort' in a relationship, online, or not, something ain't right That friend just needs to be careful that it doesn't turn into a 'web of intrigue', gets so messy then :, so best to keep it simple and stay cool
As he walked further and further down, he realised the fields were not of clover at all, but at the same time, had no idea what plant life it could possibly be.
Unfortunately, not all men, (or women for that matter), are born with the "canine" gene, which allows them to easily learn how to stay and roll over, lol I think I read somewhere that scientists in Greenland are close to extracting this very gene from their illegal, underground DNA experiments. It seems, however, they may be using rats as subjects (not sure if they are the 2-legged variety, they did not specify) They are therefore unsure how the results might transfer to humans
I agree, it isn't easy or necessarily straightforward. Having said that, you might want to ask yourself if you believe you deserve better than that from your man? If it is 'yes', then the answer might be clearer for you. Yes, you do need a lot of strength to believe you are a worthwhile person, particularly when you might be feeling so beaten up you don't have a clue who you really are any more. Have you considered taking some time out? Maybe go for a trip right away from him, and get some perspective?
I do agree with your comment about Italian men in person in Italy. Yes, in the past I have found them to be completely respectful of women, and 'no' does mean just that. My concerns relate to the online forum, but naturally this involves only the very minority out there. I agree with you, and I think I shall refrain from posting elsewhere.
I had thought of starting a new thread asking if any CS's will be in Italy around that time, but I hesitate doing that outrightly, as I fear my intentions might be misconstrued by some Italian CS's, I've already been contacted by some wanting to show me 'nirvana', if you know what I mean
Thanks rose. Very kind of you. I am actually thinking of booking for next trip back there as soon as I arrive, for maybe May next year, and go to the US as well. Love New York!
Yes, it is a fab part of the world. I was born in that region. My fourth time back to visit, but unfortunately way too short this time. Yes, it would be nice if I manage to catch with some of the others, lol
You will have a terrific time. Look forward to hearing all your stories when you get back!
Hi all Just picked up on this thread. A good one. Most people I have come across are very real. However, I have had a couple of unfortunate encounters with CS 'males'. One appeared quite real, but then, as always, people give themselves away, eventually. While this person was real, they were still 'scammers', so I got suspicious and reported this one person, and yep, they were booted off the site. But this person, to this day, kinda stalks me on yahoo. Of-course I totally ignore him. It was possibly this same person that tracked me down on my professional website. Thank goodness, I had long before removed all identifying street address information. We just have to be diligent and watch out for these somewhat disturbed people out there.
I posted a note here weeks ago, greatly disappointed that I would just miss you guys as I am in Italy 7-30 Sept. Are any of you going to be there around mid Sept? I have things I have to attend to and spend time with some relie's, but if some of you are there anyway, could be nice to catch up. Would love to hear from some of you.
Scientists measure physical attraction, to the point of getting the right angle from the edge of the lips to the tip of the eyebrow, near the temple
They have found that even young babies are genetically programmed to find certain facial features attractive, and others not. Talk about putting pressure on being a parent. Having your own baby think you're ugly after you've gone through 9mths of hard work!!!
there have very few people in my life that I can honestly say behaved in an obnoxious manner (obviously we're talking about more than 5 mins worth, lol)). In these very few cases, and it's been a very long time, it was never about stuff happening in their lives at the time, but it was in their nature. They generally been like that for years. So, obnoxious is a very strong word, and I always like to attach such a word to the behaviour rather than the individual anyway.
Oh yes, agree with you on that score. Not good if need to do physical work of any kind in hot weather, even playing sports is a no, no. A lot said for the cool of the morning. It's 'freezing' that I can't bear, lol
RE: How much does age really matter?
Hi cards (promise I'm not stalking you )I understand 80 yr olds, be they man or woman, are particularly popular when they have 'one foot in the grave, and the other on a banana skin'
