Kind of reminds me LAPD Couldn't catch a real criminal to save their buttocks, but they got Zaza Gabor for slapping a cop. I assume the cop she smacked was the arresting officer.
Just don't take it personally. I left for a couple years and am now back. I just had to step away and gather my thoughts. Sometimes people are too wound up in their own lives to think about chatting up everyone they know.
All depends on the person. We draw people to us and sometimes draw those who we are trying to avoid. I am sure there's some book or movie or talk show that's discussed this before.
But human nature, if you can get away with something will we, or at least try to.
The last date i went on started out with the normal questions like "where are you from? what do you think of the area? What do you like to eat/read/listen to/watch?" But then we discussed work . . . . we apparenty worked in the same field which turned out to be a bad thing. We just swapped work stories. Never say him again, not that I was suprised.
So don't go into detail about work, that's a bad idea.
Just back a couple of years. Maybe to not such a good time for others. My year in equador. I would have spent to time a little better I think, and really would have enjoyed myself more.
I ended up turning the darn thing off and stating in my profile that it is turned off. If they don't see that then it's not my fault. Half the time the guys that do IM you are not reading the profiles at all they are just clicking on a name or a face.
Yes in a fashion. After my grandfather died there was a night where doors were opened and closed, lights switched on/off, and stuff moved. I was all alone and heard it all happening down stairs. Scared the out of me.
