Im sure some use the site as a release for their Alter Ego, and enjoy that. Well, they can have their fun. Me, personally - I prefer to try and show my TRUE personality here, and then people can decide themselves as to whether they want to get to know me or not. No alter ego here!!

But you can sure pick up a certain amount from their words, forum demeanour and intelligence levels..especially if you are sharp enough to read between the lines..
I have learnt more about other cultures's way of thinking since being on here, than in all my geography and social history lessons!!
Sometimes, when you disagree with someone, and have a COURTEOUS debate about something, they are the most informative threads, as opposed to when we all agree on a subject. "Courteous" being the operative word there!!!

I think it should be made law! Obviously, it wouldnt be enforceable, but I really do think there should be a period of time when you live with your partner before you marry them. You never really know anyone until you live with them, day in, day out.
Yes, depends on your culture, I guess, but in the culture that I live in, then yes, I think its extremely important.
May help with the divorce statistics a tad, and stop all these younger people getting married purely for the dress and the honeymoon.
