I miss coming home after a long day at work, having that welcome cuddle and kiss, talking about my day and snuggling up on the couch with a glass of wine and feeling that closeness..
Practicalities, I can do without, its the closeness of being in love that is so wonderful..
As regards the public declaration, if some had not gossiped the heck out of us, then perhaps we would have left it a little longer. However, as we are in love, committed to each other and are going to share a life in just over a week, there seemed little point in hiding it further. We are both very happy.
I dont think Im special; I have failed in past relationships for various reasons, all different, but I know that Im special enough to deserve happiness in life.
I agree. We just want to be allowed to enjoy each other and whatever happiness life can bring us, because we both deserve it, along with lots of others on CS..
