RE: Americans are viewed around the world as

I have already..(sigh..) told you where you called people(s) names..everyone has seen you do this, I would think!!

doh

If I have absolutely nothing to do worthwhile one day, maybe I will bother to scroll right down through your posts..until that sad, worthless day I will stick with what I have already said!!

I have tried to be polite to you, sir, by wishing you a good evening. Extend me the same courtesy, if you will..

RE: Americans are viewed around the world as

Thank you, CJ..Very nice of you to say that..hug bouquet

RE: Americans are viewed around the world as

I have nothing to prove!!

I wished you a good evening in my last post. That stands..handshake

RE: Americans are viewed around the world as

Look, pal..

You made derogatory remarks about a WHOLE NATION THEN! Is that not even worse than making it towards one individual!!doh laugh

You seem to reappear on the forums every so often with a new user name, after being banned..dunno

That would pretty much point to me that you are not a particularly respectful person..laugh dunno

Anyway...have a great evening!grin

RE: Americans are viewed around the world as

I have only just seen your post asking me to show where you called others names, so apologies for the slight delay in response..

Basically, on the FIRST FEW PAGES of scrolling down your posts, you called Americans "ARROGANT", or "ARROGATE", as you kept putting..

Also, that they were "BRAINWASHED" and also that they were "RUDE PEOPLE".

All three of these statements are somewhat derogatory, dont you think??

I dont intend to go down any further through your posts, because its obviously to both myself and everyone else that you have a chip on your shoulder. And an agenda..

RE: Americans are viewed around the world as

No, I meant Never Mind, because Im not going to get into a one2one with you!!

It is easy to scroll back down your posts, Sir, for anyone here to see, how you have spoken to people over the last week or so..

Its not a secret.laugh

RE: Americans are viewed around the world as

Er, have you SEEN the amount of "larger than average" (Im being VERY polite there!) people walking down O'Connell St recently??

RE: Americans are viewed around the world as

Very sorry, Desertguy, I pressed the WRONG QUOTE BUTTON!!doh

I was responding to CelticBlue, NOT YOU..Many apologies!!

RE: Americans are viewed around the world as

My point was and is, that if you are so skeptical about US policies and generally dislike ANYTHING American, why would you waste your finger power posting the fact that you are??dunno

Never mind!!doh doh doh laugh

RE: Home made Bean Salad

The Bean Salad was/is yummy!grin

And the 15 Bean Soup was too, although it should now be called 15 BEEN SOUP, as its all gone!!laugh

Ive just cooked from scratch 4 (and a half) fresh quiches, with bacon, diced chicken, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes and lots and lots of extra sharp chedder..

Its the first time in years Ive made my own pastry (pie shells to you Americans!!) too..grin

Just called me Martha Stewart - without the insider trading!!

RE: Americans are viewed around the world as

You have just stated in another thread that you ARE A US CITIZEN..

Either you are or you are NOT..

Which is it??????????? laugh

RE: Americans are viewed around the world as

Of COURSE he did..

Why do you think he disappeared as soon as probing questions were directed at him?wink

RE: is there a bigger liar on American tv

The amount of times in the last week I have seen YOU call OTHERS names, is many, many..scold So get off your high horse..

If you feel as resentful, angry and want to disassociate yourself with the US as much as you apparently seem to, why would you bring up the fact that you are A US CITIZEN??

dunno

If you indeed are, of course..grin

RE: Americans are viewed around the world as

RE: Why dont americans travel as much?

Hi stanley..wave

As Oopy has already told you - (Hi Oopy!!laugh ), I am now in Northern New York State, having moved over from Ireland.

Basically, your question has already been answered many times here - its pretty much down to the size and diversity of the country. Also, especially in these economic times - lack of money).

Having only recently moved here, I am not allowed now to leave the US for two years, unless I have prior approval. Thats just the immigration process here. Soooo, I was only talking this morning with me hubby about how many places I would love to see here in the US. Its baffling, the variety, and I dont really know where to start! It will certainly keep my vacation question answered for quite a while, I think!laugh

Anyway, if you are new - Welcome to CS..

If not, hi anyway!!wave

RE: Americans are viewed around the world as

RE: Americans are viewed around the world as

First question: - Yes, I did..

Second question: - Yes, it is!

I dont see why you posted that at all. That would be like saying a Frenchman gives you a unique perspective on German politics..

Which, of course, would be a silly thing to say..grin Because the Frenchman's perspective would be from a French point of view, n'est pas??

dunno

RE: Americans are viewed around the world as

Why does being from Canada particularly give you an especially clear perspective of the US??dunno
