It's what they DON'T tell you that's fraudulent... once you join and pay for a membership, most of your matches are the "free memberships" which you cannot communicate with. Only paying members can communicate with each other, though they include non-paying members in the matches and don't even bother to tell you who's a paying member and who isn't. It's pure fraud IMHO!
eHarmony, Match, and Yahoo's Personals all work this way. It's not designed to be a good service, it's only designed to make as much money as possible... that's a poor business model IMO.
Also like most sites they never remove old abandoned profiles, if you make up a profile but then never log in again they just leave it forever so that it makes it look like they have a huge number of members when in fact there are far fewer members on their site.
If a person doesn't log in in over a month, they probably never will log in again so their profile should be removed by the system automatically.... don't ya think?
There's a TV show set in California called "Millionare Matchmaker". It's about a dating agency for millionares, most (but not all!) of the clients are men.
I've only caught a few episodes of it but almost every male millionare on it I've seen has been like a real creep I swear... but the gals this agency gets for them to meet, are gorgeous outgoing personable just incredible women!
And to date a millionare these gals will bend over backwards... tell them they need to lose 10 lbs, by golly they'll have it off by the following week! One woman was told she needed to stop smoking to be considered and she was instantly agreeable and ready to stop... lol!
It blows my mind. Having money definitely can get a guy MUCH better dates from what I've seen. Attractive women will do whatever it takes and overlook almost any flaws to go out with a millionare... ughh!
Us normal guys though that have a nice house on a few acres with 2 vehicles a boat and a well paying career but who aren't millionares are left dateless and on sites like CS struggling to meet somebody, anybody... something not right about this picture I swear.
Well what he did was wrong in soooo many ways... however like most posting here, I don't think his punishment quite fits the crime he committed! It's too nice and far too neat.
Guns don't kill people, people kill people. Let's try banning people for a change and see how that works! LOL!
Mmmm... I completely do not trust sellers on CraigsList though. It's just got far too many scammers on there and without a Feedback system there's no way to know who's legit and who's scamming. I much prefer Ebay!
Also searching on Ebay is alot easier.
Remember it's not a broken phone you have there, but a reason to upgrade to a better phone!
Hugzzz... and Ebay. I bet you can find the same model phone on Ebay for a fraction of a new replacement phone. Don't ask me how I know this babes! LOL!
Essentially, yup. Of course we are also subsidizing the entire state of Israel ... $80 Billion a year, last I heard. That makes me just as sick if not more... and of course, we can't afford health care reform as a result.
Something like $400,000,000 a year from the US alone, as I heard it reported on CNN awhile back. And yet we in the US can't afford healthcare reform, or so I keep being told...
Price should not be a problem... simply re-allocate the hundreds of billions of dollars the US gives away to other countries each year in "foreign aid". That should MORE than take care of the cost of health care reform. It so simple really.
I can guarantee that the cause of 100% of divorces, is marriage! LOL! People get married then stop trying to attract one another anymore and thus fall out of love and start hating each other. It's sad.
Republicans I know (unfortunately I begin to think these days!) use the term "Socialism" like it's a dirty word or something. We're all supposed to go running for the hills at the mere mention of a proposed "socialist" program. Good grief Charlie Brown!
I believe we're just taking the best of what each system of government around the world offers and making it a part of our own. A pure Capatilist system is just as corrupt as a pure Socialist system, pure Communist system or any other system one can come up with. There is no 1 perfect form of government, each and every one has it's failings.
I think we should have gone all the way to Baghdad and taken out Saddam and Son's back in 1991, when we had a very good reason to do so!
Come 2003, I don't think we had any moral justification for invading Iraq anymore... Saddam and Son's were the Iraqi people's problem, not the United States' problem!
I doubt history is going to look favorably on the near unilateral invasion of Iraq and overthrow of it's government as a result. There were no WMD's in Iraq, the primary justification given by the Bush Jr. administration for the war there. Even former Secretary of State Colin Powell said in an interview, after he'd resigned his position, that he was very upset that the Bush Jr. administration had sent him to the U.N. to make the case for invading Iraq with completely false information! That speaks volumes IMHO!
OTOH, there can be no doubt that Saddam and Son's deserved exactly what they got! However, I don't believe it was OUR responsibility to give it to them... there'in lies the problem. And in the meantime the legitimate war in Afghanistan was left almost totally unsupported and has near about been lost... and we WERE justified in going in there after 9/11!
Osama Bin Ladin who masterminded the 9/11 attacks on us (among other terrorist attacks his organization has been behind around the world) has not been found captured or killed, but we sure nough got Saddam Hussain who almost exlusively terrorized his own people... how stupid can we be?
Given all the damned beer cans and beer bottles all along the sides of the roads around here, I'd outlaw beer in a heartbeat! Alchohal drinkers are by for the worst litterers and it just makes me sick to look at all their trash everywhere!
Plus with all the beer bottles and cans people are throwing out their vehicle windows as they drive down the road, do you really think they're driving sober? Somehow, I seriously doubt it!
At least with the Cannabis there wouldn't be so much littering going on. I'll give it that at least!
