Well come back...I did actually sit on the deck this morning with my coffee (had to wear a jacket over my jammies though cat!)...
or come for Christmas...the girls like to go to a tree farm and choose our christmas tree they cut it down and DRAG it home...and all i have to do is keep the fireplace going...bake cookies (thank God for pillsbury!) and my wine glass handy!!
Hi!! Welcome to the site...we are all confused most days so you'll be in good company...
BTW..read your profile...I know you prefer tall women...just wanted you to know that i'm 5' but its one of those really really tall five feet...I assure you!
I'm guilty of this as well Chrissy...and for all the same reasons... In my defense i do try beforehand to tell them why i don't think it can work...its when they won't take no for an answer i resort to this...because obviously they need to hear it wasn't them...
I would love to see the people who just view and don't post come on here...they would be most welcome (and probably a breath of fresh air!!)..Everyone has something valuable to say...unfortunately not everyone is capable of saying it in a way that "invites" feedback..but we are still willing...
You're right Cherie...people come in and out of your life for all kinds of reasons...some are merely "stepping stones" while others remain as permanent fixtures...
I know i would not have met Kris or Cat who live in the States had i not met them here...so i do have to wonder at the roles they may have had to play in my life...
But yes i am in that picture...as well as Shygirl, Catwoman, Soul and Paws...
because contrary to popular belief...even though we did all meet here online on the CS site...we wanted to be more that just "online" friends and we took it a step further...to arrange and all meet in person...it was NOT a hook up thing...it was NOT a fan club thing..it was NOT a "pack mentality" thing...it was pure and simple...a "FRIENDSHIP" thing...
People want to call us "gangs" and "cliques" on here...but that is in their ignorance...you see we spent time together...stayed at each other's homes..ate with each other, laughed with each other and cried with each other...that IS friendship...going the extra mile..
Some of my best friends Cherie are the ones who have different opinions than mine...it allows us to help each other grow by offering differences of opinions...its the manner in which it is done that makes the difference here..
Anyone remember this story? Don't know about the Americans but this novel was part of the Canadian English curriculum when i was in school..and still is today as a matter of fact...
If you have read it...does it remind you of anything?
..."alot of us just seem to see have the same thoughts on alot of levels"...
If we didn't find that here Froggy we would have all moved on to somewhere/something else...it is the common interests and a healthy mix of differences which keep us here together...
There is a superstition that says not to light 3 cigarettes in a row (3 people together) and even i know that came from a military warning...so its not necessarily superstition (though it has evolved to such) as much as it was a safety measure...
I've heard that if you light a candle as part of a "ceremony/ritual" and it blows out there is an evil spirit close by...have you heard or experienced that??
Superstitions have origins...some of them i believe are based on "scientific facts" except ignorance of that same science turned them into "superstitions"...
RE: older men younger women
Because i'm busy telling the "younger" ones they're too young..and the older men are busy telling me.."they're too old for me..."
