Does anyone on here know whether or not "Gypsy" blood runs in their family??
I have a friend who mentioned this to me...and you know what i think i would have liked to be a Gypsy (the romantic kind...not the thieving kind...I'm not really good at that type of thing)...
Anyone else?...or for that matter any other type of "romantic" foreign ancestry?
Don't do it Rich...those guns are remnants from WWI...as a matter of fact our whole army is outfitted with "castoffs" from other countries i think...remember we were the ones that sent our men to desert storm in their fancy new green camaflouge...
Some traits we are not born with...we acquire them with experience in life...
Can you think of something that happened in your life that has made you the way you are right now...whether it be a good thing or a bad thing...
I know i was very trusting of the law...until i had a run in with them and i will never hold them in high esteem ever again after that experience....and this only happened recently...
It's no wonder they jump in on our conversations...or when you're on the phone..."oh who was that?"..."yeah?...what did she want?"...because they obviously don't have conversations of their own...
I was really hoping the men would have tried to really talk to each other...but i guess not...
Kind of reminds me of the days at school dances where they lined the wall and looked at all the girls then started shoving each other around...as if that was the answer to everything!!!
I actually only came back on this morning when i saw Lori's thread about Rob...and i couldn't not say something to him, by the time i was done i'd already had mail...and some welcoming me back...to have hidden my profile at that point would have been petty and way too "dramatic" for me...even though i can be a "drama queen" when i want to be...but not at my friends...
I can't believe men talk about such mundane things...we women spend hours just discussing whether or not a guy "looked" at us a certain way...and what could it mean...
And by the way guys...we go to the washroom in "clusters" so we can finish our conversation...
Thanks Z...you guys really rock! I was upset and know i should have just let it roll off my back...but when i thought of the time i spent trying to come up with interesting subjects for everyone to share and word them "just so"...I got angry...but i know i have real friends on here...
But that is the whole point of this thread...to give the men the opportunity to do something that has been a "forbidden"...
For the most part the men on here kind of know each other....so i don't think they should feel that awkward talking here...
Can you just try a little to step out of the box?...you might be amazed at what advice another man may have to offer...especially if they are speaking from experience...
