I believe both parties have contributed to the situation. Putting their own wants and needs above others.
I've been on a plane when somebody with very smelly feet decided to take their shoes off. I thought the best way of dealing with it was to loudly discuss the situation with my travel partner, using strong language. It worked, the person must have known the decent thing to do was to put their shoes back on...
Sharing a confined space takes patience and compromise, the relative cheapness of flight these days is attracting a less considerate class of passenger.
You're right about mates, who knows maybe a tough day or something. If its a pattern I'd stress, a one off maybe some other reason. Cowboys all the way, I can feel it in my bones. Gonna be a great year.
I'm sure child maintenance is run thrrough the tax department there same as here, we have medicare same thing minus dental. But there's dental for low income.
If it was an inflatable girlfriend then I wouldnt bother with second hand/ damaged goods/ whatever, Truth be told I wouldnt bother with brand new in original packaging (not that I dont trust the guys at the factory/warehouse).
Case by case basis, I have children myself, but they don't live with me and are grown up now. Would I take on a partner with infants?, leaning away from it. Moody teenagers?, sounds like drama and hard work. Grandchildren? no, I don't think she'd have much spare time. But who knows, there may be exceptions.
