Question is Ali, what would you do if that letter comes for you? Say the man wants to talk about bananas or mangoes, or other agriculture products, would you step up to the plate and sort out the business... Or would you tell him you are too busy, and maybe some other time...
Sometimes Tasmanian salmon, never Vietnamese catfish...
Of course, Tasmanian salmon has similar issues of environmental degradation both from the waste as well as the raping of the ocean to feed them. But we have environmental regulations and clean water, so it's probably no worrse than eating beef or something. I catch my own sometimes, species that would not be highly regarded as table fish, taste just fine straight out of the ocean.
You'd need some garantee they'd been drained properly, otherwise there could be very high pressure built up.Last thing you want is them bursting at the dinner table.
One day I'll have my own corporation, and the whole office will have heaps of women doing zumba all over the place, and there will be techno music as well.
The problem with the robot idea, it just shifts the crappy jobs up a level. Like when you get a dishwasher for the first time, you think oh yeah this will make everything really easy, but you quickly see it's a crappy job stacking and unstacking it. The robot will still have filters to be cleaned out and need oil changes etc.
Its different for men and women. If a woman rocks up to work wearing hot pants, everyone is happy and productivity goes up. If a man rocks up wearing hot pannts, everyone is like- where's the rest of the village people? and the day is ruined and unproductive.
Yeah, that would be wonderful. I have always dreamt about improving my social status and rubbing shoulders with the hoi poloy. Being a dead bird collector could just be the start of my own journey towards having new friends.
My thoughts, it sounds more like a symptom than a cause. Could it just be the straw that broke the camels back? She would have had a fair idea of what being involved in the childs life involves, especially with a related work background. My own experiences and observations, women with a kid or two, want a male role model for the boy things- catching lizards, baiting fish hooks, lighting a campfire etc... They don't appreciate other input, like table manners or homework etc., where they may have a different idea of what's expected. The kids are fine while everything is all happy happy, this all changes when a new partner does not follow their established routine, not giving in to a tantrum for example. They probably feel awkward about Mums attention being shared, and might act up to escalate differences. For me, I kind of lose interest in the fishing/camping/etc. when I think I'll be subjected to poor behaviour/manners, and then be told off for trying to address the issue. My guess is the sister is being expected to work around the problems, not deal with them. Especially if she is genuinely qualified to make a positive difference, as this would make both biological parents feel inadequate/inneffective. Most likely they claim to have tried everything and made every effort, but nothing works.
RE: Who eats farmed fish?
Used to?So it didn't end well...
