RE: Blaming others for acting exactly same as yourself

I feel that Greek olives are slightly superior to Spanish olives, so I'm sorry to break the bad news to you.

RE: Blaming others for acting exactly same as yourself

Yes I think thats human nature, to have a bit of a double standard.

RE: Where is God when a 100 km asteroid strikes earth and all life on the surface of the earth dies?

When that asteroid hits Earth, it will also disprove the existence of the Easter bunny and the tooth fairy as well.

RE: BBM

Thats not a word I really use myself. I've got heaps of mates that feel they do quite well with the ladies, which numbers wise is true, but there's no quality or depth. To each their own, but no being totally out of shape does nothing for most people, apart from the lower end of the spectrum.

RE: BBM

And she'll probably have further successes with heaps of guys that are skinny or fat, but nothing will stick thats for sure.

RE: BBM

But its more complex than that, I dont think women are really his thing, hence the 'tash

RE: which colour clothes were you told suit's you best............?

Well, Kremas obviously not going to get a job on childrens TV...

RE: BBM

Probably that guy off Mythbusters, he'd root anything.

RE: What do you hear?

Yonny? as in the jewish word for spadger?

RE: What happens if we are alone and fall dead in a Forrest?

Sorry to be pedantic again, but we or us being alone is an oxymoron. Me or I being alone makes a lot more sense.

RE: which colour clothes were you told suit's you best............?

I cant decide which colour, so I'll wrap myself in clingwrap instead.

RE: Do u miss any of ur old b/f's or g/f's ?

Well, you've got 6 years to convince me...

RE: Do u miss any of ur old b/f's or g/f's ?

Yeah mee too Snooky, my cut off age is 84...

RE: Do u miss any of ur old b/f's or g/f's ?

Yeah I'll get real here and say, we always learn but sometimes dont want to admit we did. Each partner teaches us something about ourselves and others, and so when we're 86 years old and dont know what day it is, we're the perfect versions of ourselves and ready for a partner.

RE: Do u miss any of ur old b/f's or g/f's ?

Sure I miss all of my ex's, I hope they're happy and doing well in life.
Would I go back? nah I dont think so, do I want to reconnect? not in an intimate way. Do I stay in touch with them? Well, I dont think its helpful for them to move forward my being in the background, but some like to stay in touch every so often and thats nice.

RE: Let's have a birth day party on my birthday ?

Other positions? like doggy?

RE: YOUR THOUGHTS....

Its a sad story, but relationships break down for all sorts of reasons and its really only the business of those directly involved. Nothing happens in a vacuum, and although its painful to see a loved one going through it all, imagine if you made the consequences much worse for everybody by involving yourself in an unwise action.

RE: What’s the difference between a dating alcoholic and a single dipsomaniac?

And the other lost their driving license.

RE: Opposite to right

I often wonder about this kind of thing while I'm having a lefty.

RE: A sun tan in Iceland

Its plummeted right down to 18 here, just after 9pm. Its quite unpleasant and I would like this cold snap to end.

RE: Israel wins Eurovision 2018

Yeah, neither did the hotties from Cyprus apparently...

RE: How to make online dating more successful!

I cant see rolling a joint preventing any STI's, I'd be tarping up instead.

RE: How to make online dating more successful!

Aids is the last thing you want in a relationship.

RE: Israel wins Eurovision 2018

I dont think the contest has much to do with music, maybe the strategic and geographic voting has reduced the need for talent or ability. Technically, Australia is not in Europe either, so no surprises Jessica Mauboy came 20th out of 24, when clearly she performed much better than most that beat her.

RE: How to make online dating more successful!

I dont think its possible to differentiate between serious daters and time wasters, majority of people are in a kind of denial. I'll admit to being a time waster most of the time, but if something tasty came along...happy times!

RE: How to make online dating more successful!

to quote One... With so many choices & the fact that we are still here, what does that say about us?

There are maybe half a dozen Australian women on here posting, I'd be too young for 4 of them, the others would be either too far away or not a match for me. Seriously, do you buy the first car you see a picture of on the internet? I wouldnt, I'd be checking out several different cars, and test driving a few. Sure, the car dealer would much prefer me to buy whatever he says is the right car for me, and if he has a jealous tantrum the last thing I'd do is reward him with my business.

RE: How to make online dating more successful!

To quote Rachie- So if you are talking to someone you like. Would that question not be on your mind? dunno

I've had men ask me that question or say you seem to be very friendly with..

Works both ways dependent on the interest each person has in another.

Would it be on my mind? well I guess it would a bit, but not enough to bother me much. I would imagine somebody I liked enough to message with, would have other friends and be engaged with the world outside our friendship.

Personally I dont see jealousy as interest or care/affection, I see it as corrosive immaturity.

RE: How to make online dating more successful!

Who says online dating is not already successful for those able to negotiate it?
Pretty much as soon as a woman asks me if I'm chatting with others etc, I know its going nowhere.
I think its too easy to blame the opposite gender and the website, while ignoring the common denominator in the equation.

RE: Irish ladies

Nah the worst part is when you're drinking coffee or tea at the time, and it splutters out your nose and goes all over the computer.

RE: Hoarding

In my opinion it depends what folks are hoarding. You might have a house full of antique motorbikes, or full of empty milk bottles, newspapers etc. But thats a subjective judgement really.

I reckon they collect a certain amount of things, feeling reassured by its presence/stability, and then realise they're overwhelmed by all the junk. But by then they may feel threatened by radical change.
