The Craving

Embedded image from another site

The day passes slowly
Again I'm craving you
Still taste you on my lips
I still smell you
your sweetness lingers
arousing my senses.

I want to hear you moan again
to be there again
cradled between your chocolate thighs
to please you again.

Remnants of you this evening
such slow sips
the way you turned
tossed and flipped

My sheets now moist
misplaced and ripped
I reach for the phone
to call you,

Wake up my love
I'm craving you...

One good woman (blues poem)

They say women and cats
just do as they please
all I want is one good woman
to set my mind at ease.

Just one good woman
to be by my side
God's blessing and a miracle
at times to be my guide.

The good woman
an enhancer and romancer
love's reliable cement
one to kiss over and over.

To chase away the demons
the mania of the day
a jubilee of devotion
until we're old and gray.

Just one good woman
a testament of love so real
to soothe and heal me
with her touch reproach and seal...

Christmas Blues Poem

Embedded image from another site

It's Christmas time
only coming once a year
Salvation Army people singing
soon family will be here...

Light the candles
let's decorate the tree
lot's of nice presents
to open for you and me...

Baby Santa Claus is coming
Jingle Bells times three
I hear you in the kitchen
cooking up a Christmas Jamboree...

It's all about peace on earth
there's not many stockings on the wall
love is what counts baby
good will towards all...

Just you and me
a fire before the tree
as I cuddle with you
on this Christmas Jamboree..

Euphoria

Embedded image from another site

I'm here bordering almost oneiric
in a state of somnolence in an invisible fire
wearing the personification of a hellish realm
obsessive and compulsive in the unknown...

I turn the hourglass counting grains of sand
to validate my existence pondering am I a victim
alone and depressed tonight...

Are you as lonely as I am, perhaps?
do you wear the narcissistic smile
in the shape of the crescent moon?

Que tal, La Luna
I whisper to the night in disintegration
"Your sleepy lullaby has failed me tonight"
just as the opiates that fall from your eyes
in steams of gleaming silver dreams...

Euphoria fades with shallow thoughts
in glass silhouettes of burning embers
making a pile of ashes so unique
no insane arsonist could have imagined...

Comes the dawn to end this paralysis
leaving me wondering am I just a marionette
that even opiates or Xanax cannot cure...

On the corner of my night table
empty bottles mock me...

My Queen

Embedded image from another site

Do you see your King?
perspired
breathing
Musk in your arms..

Come my Queen
stirred
mocha
flower of desire..

Come
cocooned in silk
morning star
your skin on my sheets...

Along the beach

Embedded image from another site

Lovely dark woman
the tide brings you
for love is a child
and the sea water
brings your kisses
like turbulent waves...

Gulls float and sing
such a sweet song
the birds glide
above the ships
along the horizon
the ships return thither..

You my queen
the daughter sleeps
the taste of wine
from your lips
our souls sing
mermaid of the sea...

You the beautiful rose
the warmth of your arms
a lover who never mourns
together we soar the sky
together flying pair to pair...

Surreal Poem

Embedded image from another site

Last night I dreamed
your eyes were lit
in a world of fire
your kisses struck
like heat lightning
many moons rose and fell
tides pulled the shoreline closer
you transparent as a ghost
and in the heat of this frozen night
we were still there...

You the porcelain doll
eyes that open and shut
words yet to crack
mute rain between us
eyelashes black and shiny
sitting on the edge of the mountain
with just a shallow stare...

My body gliding to you
I try and break through
waves that have become mountains
that cover the pale skyline...

Poema de amor #2

Embedded image from another site

Only for you
because I think
the night causes us
to open our eyes
the night arrives
calling us to love
it collects your image
beautiful from foot to soul
you are not vain
small and sweet
is your shell heart.

Sometimes you're mine
sometimes not
I look for you
look and die
dying is much worse
if I do not look for you
if you do not look for me.

You exist everywhere
even more when I want you
your mouth is Sangria
I look for you and have not found you
hours and days have passed
and still no you...

The Magnolia Tree

Embedded image from another site

Outside my window
I watch you
since winter began
to hold your beauty close...

I will protect you
from the rain and cold
as you wear
your grayish-green coat...

when Springtime comes
you will release
your sweet perfume
exotic in all its splendor!

Your beautiful flower
like hands will open
fingers uncurling
your beauty hidden in winter...

The Temple

Embedded image from another site

Mi amor through your kisses
you have captured my heart
with you affections
you enchant me...

Love pulses through my veins
I am you
you are me
true love conquers the universe...

I will build a temple for you
made from the bricks of my flesh
the mortar from my blood
adorned with the brass of my bones...

Inside I will sculpt a statue of you
carving it out with my beating heart
your reflection upon a mirror of gold
maintained with utmost care...

Love is the beginning and end
discovered replaces all else
time and space
are slaves to its presence...

Call it love

Embedded image from another site

The night it is barren
from inland to the sea
but I am the one who loves you
you are not alone.

Tonight the sky is empty
stars fall in the sea
I am the light to guide you
do not wish to be alone.

If the world becomes deserted
all eyes you see are sad
I will smile for you
you will never be alone.

Sleeping I dreamed you
awake I keep dreaming
I dream because you love me
and I am not alone.

It is sometimes madness
a longing absentee
call it love
and we are not alone...

Gloom

Embedded image from another site

Her love
was like music

Now I am
driving down a fog

wondering where I am

in this braided fabric
of midnight

and so it goes
gloom...
