To love lost...

Embedded image from another site

As I run by the sea
the autumn wind blows silently
drunk with your specter
reeling against me
I stopped to talk to a gull
as it floated between a pier and horizon
breathing the salinity
the sound of the splashing waves
reminded me of your sighs
all these things steeped in memory of you
I shivered as they tried to remind me...

Sad Poem

Embedded image from another site

I remember her hair
long black and beautiful
dark yet with golden light
in the length of it.

So lovely, liquid and glorious
the luxurious smell of her hair
scented with springtime
jasmine and magnolia.

It has been weeks now
renewed visions of pleasure
what I write is true
I knew the sweet splendor of love.

Calm as a second summer
tonight I see a star
why is it now that i see
just now.

I write for her this poem that begins
with I love you and ends with I love you
somewhere in the middle is a good by
for all the times I hurt her....

Winter Sky Poem

Embedded image from another site

I will write for her clouds of color
Ellipses, reddened
to temper this cold!

I will write for her words of purple cirrus
and pink, dawns
we will walk in golden sunsets.

Behold yellow morning star
the heavenly peach
caught between Magnolia branches..

I will write the rain, the flame
and this poem for her!

Dialogue with the Prophet Muhammad

Embedded image from another site

Using an exciting new app "quantum entanglement" I managed to contact the Prophet Muhammad for an exclusive interview..

Ken: Thank you for giving me your time Muhammad..As-Salamu Alaikum...

Muhammad: Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds!

Ken: Amen to that. You are the messenger of Islam?

Muhammad: Yes I am the messenger of Allah to the world, of Him whose is the Kingdom of the heaven and the earth..There is no God but He..My duty is to make sure the message reaches all..It is God's part to make them accountable...

Ken: Accountable? As in jihad? I understand there are at least 109 verses in the Quran that call Muslims to war with non-believers for the sake of Islamic rule...

Muhammad: Yes..The Quran states, (2, 191, 193) "And kill them wherever you find them and turn them out where they have turned you out, and disbelief is worse than killing..Quran (4, 76) "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah." (2,-244) "Fighting is prescribed for you."

Ken: Do you support the recent activity of ISIS such as beheading of Westerners?

Muhammad: Not really Ken..There is a term in Islam called Dhimmi..It refers to non-Muslim subjects of a Muslim state.."If anyone wrongs a man with whom a covenant has been made, or curtails any right of his, or imposes on him more than he can bear, or takes anything from him without due cause, I shall be his adversary on the Day of Resurrection..

Ken: Very compassionate good Prophet..

Muhammad: I also grieve the killing of Muslims by Muslims..The split came after my death..Hence the Shiites and the Sunni...

Ken: Are you the main example of all of Islam to follow?

Muhammad: A good example is Abraham and those who followed him..He and his followers prayed, "Our Lord! In thee do we trust, and to thee do we turn in repentance..To thee is our final goal" (60, 4)

Ken: Cool...Do you have any other quotes before we wrap this up?

Muhammad: Yes Ken.."O ye who believe! Bow down and prostrate yourselves and adore you Lord and do good: that ye may prosper...Just as Salah ad-Din was a benevolent man, respected by both Christians and Muslims..His acts at the end of the Third Crusades demonstrated Muslims and Christians are not in a "civilization" clash, but rather in a "civilization" bondage..

Ken: Very nice Prophet..As a Christian as I believe in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ's message of compassion and forgiveness, "whoever smites you on one cheek, turn the other too."

Muhammad: Yes..I say to you, "O Allah, You are the original source of all peace."

Ken: As- Salamu Alaikum!

Muhammad: Wa-Alaikum-Salaam!

Dialogue with the death angel

Embedded image from another site

Ken: Good evening death angel..Why are you here? I'm not afraid anymore as I have suffered many losses to you..May I ask a relevant question? Where now is your sting?

Death: Mockingly..My sting is your sins Ken...

Ken: I'm aware of the consequences of sin...Why don't you properly reply? You attempt to flee..How can you frighten me, you have taken my wife, brother and now my mother..My sins have been forgiven..God so loved the world He sent His only begotten son to pay the price..I know the fear of death follows a man throughout life..A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time...

Death: Your allotted time will come..Accept this inevitability my son, it is your apt enterprise..Do I see anger in your eyes?

Ken: I know at times I have been decedent, destitute, sometimes drawn directly from the dissolution of decency through evolution..

Death: I'm not here as an attorney, through amorality perhaps you have abstained apparently from my assignment..You cannot persuade me from my tasks..It is of cosmic scale dealing with all mortal affairs..

Ken: I am here for a purpose yet fulfilled..My sins were paid for by Christ Jesus..One day my senses will be lost, my soul to float in mid-air, maybe all I love will be gone..I will become camouflaged in the universe, in the stars, sand and the sea..Recalled by the Creator..

Death: Almighty God created me as well..I am His angel of death..History has done me wrong..I shed a tear with each soul I take..I have to go now Ken...I am a very punctual entity..It is not yet your time..I will however have to come for you one day..

Ken: I suppose I had you all wrong death..Life does move swiftly, dawn to dusk, ashes to ashes, dust to dust...

Without love and romance

Embedded image from another site

It would cloud the sun forever
in one instant the sea would dry
shift the axis of the earth
as a weak crystal
all of this would happen!
resulting in death
cover me with its funereal crepe
but you could never shut me
from the flame of your love...

Last night I dreamed
we were standing in cold grey weather
under the proudest stars
no escape from the ocean breeze
we looked beyond
as the pale moon put on a white cloth...

Gargoyle

Embedded image from another site

And once again
off you go
I'm left in my silent room...

Since you left
it is awful
making sound exist
you said love falters

when one cannot
remember what trust was
now love I speak up
to break this silence...

Waiting for an earthquake
to bring back the zeal
nothing is here but a
medieval gargoyle

on my roof
to break up
the falling rain...

But I am not here
I am in the future
where I shall remain
waiting for love to return....

Love Alive

Embedded image from another site

Oh love alive
my living flame of love
kisses that tenderly wound
my heart like Cupid's arrow
pleasing me in all ways
breaking the fabric of my discontent.

My angelic soft one
delicious sorbet
tender delicate caress
lips that whisper the secret of life.

Eyes like lamps of fire
wonderful splendor
stars shining with passion
my life was dark and blind
and you beautiful woman
offers me color and light your beloved.

You, my love alive
awakens my heart
where in secret you dwell alone
with your gift of tenderness
I am alive and filled with joy!

Chocolate desire

Embedded image from another site

There is nothing better
than a lover
unless it is a lover with chocolate.

Baby bring your chocolate
covered caramel kisses
my heart is hungry
my mouth ready again.

You are my comfort food
I want to smile
and lick you clean
finding your secret center.

I'll write this love poem
on your hot fevered skin
as your warm chocolate
rolls on my tongue.

Lover of lovers
we feast of tongue and touch
a frenzied melting lust,

Spending the night together
under a Cajun moon
lost in a spasm
of a raspberry cream climax...

From Louisiana

Embedded image from another site

Autumn breeze sings
I think of my lady
driving from New Orleans.

Sweet Cajun lady
kisses that drive me mad
caresses me tenderly
the best I've ever had.

Cajun moon rising
joy to my eyes
kiss me good morning
come watch the sun rise.

Louisiana lady
I'm missing you bad
come home to me baby
bring the best I've ever had...

Ebola

Embedded image from another site

Is the earth
trying to rid itself
of an infection
of human parasites?

The insides of the host
turning to jelly
rebuking black junk
the dissolved organs...

Lord God
have mercy
upon mankind
deliver and save us

from the dreadful
Ebola Virus...
