The Gingerbread House

Embedded image from another site

Come and live with me
be my spouse
savoring your chocolate kisses
in our own gingerbread house...

With four walls
a roof, a door, a window and swing
a pure culinary delight
painted with the sweetest of icing...

We will add more rooms
scented with ginger delight
build love stories
crispy as a ginger bite!

Not far from the candy cane rainbow
there will be a vanilla side
and a chocolate side to show
such a lovely home for the holidays!

you and I in our gingerbread home
on a street made of peppermint
the front yard displays a gum drop gnome
with pineapple face and blueberry eyes!

Metempsychosis Love

Embedded image from another site

Mi alma gelela
last night you chased the demon
away as it sought to steal me
into the void of loneliest of loneliness...

You gnarled and cursed the demon
who dared bring darkness
you lover of eternal confirmation
keeper of my joys, my love and pains...

I have loved you in numberless forms
an infinite number of occurrences
I have held you life after life
from the diaspora in age after age...

When i first gazed you
I recognized you instantly
all loves and lives
draw me to you endlessly...

Melting into the dream of dreams
our souls has always been here
knowing for who we come for
knowing where we are going...

I and thou eternally
we honor the cosmic oath
my love, will you always remember me
from thousands of years ago?

Memory of a past lover

Embedded image from another site

She was my first true lover
our love was as an outlaw
not adhering to any set of rules
in the age of free love, we loved for free...

From German town she came
coming to triumph over the sun
in my stage of life that was the moon
for my life was early to rise...

The night was our secret river
loving beneath the heavens up to the pyre
she the star of more fertile fire
lover of lovers, unleashing radiant desire...

When we first met
it seemed like only seconds
to say hello and kiss
when she left it took forever to say goodbye...

Shadow of death on my unfortunate lyre
in fathomless echoes I cried out her name
death of our physicality, death of the flame
just black tears the shade of my pen...

She came where red is the Eastern veil
where deepest seas entomb her light
Erica came like the sun to travel so far
then chose to span the world in godless flight...

Autumn Enchantment

Embedded image from another site

What autumn has bedecked
with plants, founts and flowers;
in colors of divine radiance
the sun hangs in the fourth sphere,
then comes purple daybreak,
beautiful sky brimful with stars
none can equal mi cielo,
the lovely parts of your face!

Your black hair lost in the forest,
hands soft and delicate as lilies
hidden partially beneath your coat,
breasts and arms, engirdling your fantasy frame,
stay, elusive shadow of my beloved
lovely illusion on this soft autumn day,
sweet woman for whom I love so sadly
image of enchantment I love the best...

Today autumn washes gently along the Gulf of Mexico,
I gather cones of pines in yellow baskets,
opening a liter of sparkling red wine
come mi corazon, in the energy of the harvest moon glow,
for inside your simple tender heart
my numb dreams yearn to snuggle up,
just as when the night of this autumn starts,
we cuddle like two birds in cozy nests...

Love poem for a witch..

Embedded image from another site

My love
we celebrate your birth
on the night of Samhain
when the worlds are whisper thin
and your magic sings its sweetest song

Your love draws stars from the sky
lures spirits from the tombs
snow falls from summer skies
love so sacred and magical

Let us encounter
surrounded by forest
as the wind
whispers its secrets to the trees
we seek the sacred creek
leading to the river that kisses the earth
where flowers bloom in rapture to the earth

This day I am yours
you are mine
we are inseparable in death
by Any power or pain
for it is such true love
no death awaits us

Come with me my love
come back to the one
sense my spirit and take flight
let us see all of creation
let us seek favor from the divine

God and goddess we will become
gods of true and all powerful devotion
let us be graced
by the moon goddess
by the dragon of the stars
allowing us to burn hot with passion

Let us draw
from the power of the earth
alive and solid
beneath our feet
a fertile valley
all our wants and needs
will be satisfied

Blessed be
your feet which carries you to me
your knees which kneel in worship
your breasts of porcelain beauty
your lips which kiss with fire
blessed be your body

My love scented with jasmine
I seek you in silver slant of moonlight
your magic is all enthralling
I succumb to your witches cry
I come to your lair softly lit
your Wiccan pattern on the floor to guide me
save me from the river of flames
with the manifestation of your desires
for in you my love
I am charmed...

In honor of my fellow poets..

I am all so very humbled,
To be among all of those,
Whose vast talents are so displayed,
In brilliant expressions of great compose..

Our poems are words of music,
Perhaps a condensed story to unfold,
It comes from within inspired by the Almighty,
Such a glorious imagery to behold..

I ask Him every day of passing week,
To keep the music coming from within our soul,
He answers with that small still voice,
For us to keep them coming and our stories to be told..

Love And Death

Embedded image from another site

Mi amor, how we adore us
feel how it tangles
deep in our hearts
we have fallen in love...

Corazon, when I am gone
bury me under the soaring oak
beneath the Spanish Moss that shades you
where you read my love letters...

In love we are as mortals
dazzled and deluded
by the architecture of our bodies
lost in admiration of such glory...

Today let us live, mi amor
let us make such sweet love
before there is no more
of you and I...

One day you will miss me
dead and gone forever
then you will want me
you will remember and adore me..

Then you will visit my grave
throw kisses at my tombstone
why not give them to me now?
I am here before you...

Then after that day comes
and anyone mentions my name
awakening your secret pain
my beloved...

while you are beneath your tree
tell them you are not crying
it is just pollen in the warm breeze
that makes your eyes weep...

Mesmerized...

Embedded image from another site

The fact that I cannot
have her today
makes me
want her even more...

It is as if
I'm in the desert
wishing for rain
I imagine the mirage of her...

Needing her in my arms
I am mesmerized
spellbound and hypnotized
I ripple with goosebumps...

I am her lover photographer
the reflection of her pupils
imaged in my minds eye
mesmerizing me once again...

Bedroom eyes that draw me in
fevered brow that needs a friend
revealing a love story from deep within
leaving me mesmerized again and again...

Only You...

Embedded image from another site

Your honey laden affections
captured me from the taste
of your first deep kiss
and my eyes melted into yours...

Your soft smooth hands
prompting my innermost desires
as you caressed my chest
with a soothing touch of adoration...

It's only you, you black haired youth
with your dark skin and nocturnal eyes
and the rubies glowing on your lips
it's only you I see, nobody but you...

You dark angel, yes, of my fantasies
the ideal shape I see in the afternoons
who whispers sweet seductive words
repeated by the autumn breeze...

Only you have i felt this way
a most tender elated anticipation
You've filled my hours with delight
you've spawned new life within me...

Blue Moon

Embedded image from another site

She said
the blue moon is rising
it understands
what it is like to love
to be human
and alone
uncertain
imperfect...

She knows
the sun and the moon
argues as to who
will bring me to sleep
I give into night...

I prefer
to walk
in light of day...

I will slumber
sleep under the moon
the orbiting albino
with its 1000 shafts of light
as it casts cool upon the earth...

A blue moon tonight
a crescent balloon
shaving slivers from our soul
over calm surface of the sea...

Hold my hand and touch me
while the moon
brings high tide to the shores...

It is a song of longing
from blue moon of August
full moon drum of the sea
as the stars shine like pearls...

Minute moons in the sky
dazzling images of light
they wrap the blue seaweed
sparkling, dancing, dizzy tides...

We embrace and kiss
the sea horses neigh
all the island mermaids
come out to sing...

Ode to the outhouse poet..

Embedded image from another site

There he sits
pushing and flexing
perhaps giving birth
to another Texas

He sits in a bathroom stall
holding a pen or knife
staring straight ahead
leaving his work on the wall

this man must have
great ambition in life
to leave his name on the wall
in all the public bathroom stalls

They may scrub his work
to halt his pen
but the outhouse poet
will always strike again

Perhaps one day
they will stop his fate
and leave in the stall
a quart of kaopectate...

Interracial Love Poem

Embedded image from another site

Love knows no color
we love with our hearts
love without barriers
we write with our soul
therefore we are artists.

This is a poem
about interracial love
sit back and read it
and learn like Aesop's fables...

She is dark like the night
I am bright as the day
when we are together
we create a radiant light.

She the dark ebony princess
dark against my ivory skin
contrasting the shades of our bodies
we marinate in reality's dreams
stapling our color together
a passion that takes us
to forbidden exotic places.

Our color entangles within our arms
we dance in meadows taboo
we kiss in the tall soft grass
crushing daisies with our naked bodies.

We speak bliss and love with our tongues
a language not even her African ancestors would understand
creating magic in our stolen moments
as our bodies yearn to comfort the other.

Elders before us roll over in their graves in anguish
surprised at a love so sacred and eternal
this bridge between two souls
perhaps could be too painful to witness.

My body electric to her brown crescent moon figure
sparking as I caress with vanilla fingers
into any crater that can be found
satisfying the insatiable desires of our bodies.

After afternoons of tongue and touch
we find safety in our refuge
laying in the ruins of our forbidden pleasures
so snug and serene in our exotic jungle...
