Running for senator in a state you don't live in...

Currently Republican Herschel Walker is in a runoff election against Democratic incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock. A few details have been uncovered as Walker is still a resident of Texas and claiming homestead exemption for the home he owns there, yet he registered to vote and voted in Georgia.
By Georgia law, "Any person who votes, or registers to vote, knowing that he or she is not eligible to do so is guilty of a felony.” This is a serious offense and could affect the outcome of the election if he's not eligible to run for office in Georgia.

Walker is on the fence with anti-abortion and having paid for an abortion for a girlfriend of 6 years, that he's denied knowing.

Now he's running for office to a state he doesn't actually live in.

This reads like the perfect candidate for Republicans to put their faith in...

Your weekly dose of Donald... Post Black Friday Edition!

It's still hurricane season in Trump world. He appears in the news several times a day. The Mar-a-Lago government documents saga isn't going well for him and it appears the Department of Justice will prevail.
The tax fraud issue isn't going well. He knew about every facet of the Trump Organization and signed all the checks. His attorneys aren't able to prove otherwise.

What else?
Claiming freedom of speech on the TRUTH social media platform has it's limits that he isn't aware of. Trump used his site to attack the woman who accused him of rape in a Manhattan department store. She files a defamation suit, he denounced her claim.
Trump's lawyers tried to argue what he said as president was protected from legal action. He's a private citizen now and has no such privilege.
George Conway Tweeted about this as the defense he's been pushing for years is no longer there.

What else?
Calling for the “termination” of the U.S. Constitution and his continued efforts to throw out the results of the 2020 presidential election.

The truth about TRUTH...

As you know, years ago, Trump had issues with social media having been banned from Twitter and Facebook. He couldn't comply with their terms of use and complained when his posts were deleted. To him (and others that followed him) it was censorship.
It was then I blogged and stated, if he cannot comply with their rules, he should form his own social media group.
After months of preparation, programming delays and other legal matters that had to be completed, he released a new social media platform called TRUTH. Millions flocked to it on it's initial release... only if you had an iPhone as it didn't support other operating systems. What the user got was a Twitter clone direct to the mouth of Trump. Not a good start. Like any new venture, it had issues with financing and programming glitches where it was reportedly on the verge of collapse. What could go wrong?
Well... Elon Muck decided to buy Twitter and that was a roller coaster ride long before the start. Many of the profiles were bots and not real members. That was one issue of many. His talk about reinstating Trump's account had conservatives in 'happy mode' like the good old days. It appeared his firing greater than half of his staff, losing his advertisers had already put a knife to his neck and a gun aimed at his feet. I'm thinking financial suicide. How could someone with so much business savvy make so many mistakes?
Now, there's talk that Twitter is reinstating Trump's profile. Elon did a poll asking members if they wanted Trump back and more than 50% said yes. Not overwhelming... probably because many who would have voted no had already abandoned Twitter.

Can 'one' serve two masters?
If Trumps account with Twitter gets restored, there's a really good chance he would abandon TRUTH giving it a 'kiss of death' and that would be the truth about TRUTH.

This week on Sirius XM radio the Deep Tracks channel 27 has been renamed Fleetwood Mac channel and will be playing a marathon of their songs in memory of Christine McVie who died on November 30, 2022.
YouTube has some nice work where she collaborated with Lindsey Buckingham doing an album together.

Art Basel...

I heard from a designer he and his client are going to Art Basel to buy some expensive paintings. It's happening on Miami Beach December 1 - 3, 2022.
Today, I heard on a local station advertising the event that it's going to be huge. While I've never had the desire to go, perhaps next year things will be different. Tickets are $90 for a single day and $55 for seniors and students.

10 years ago, I did a penthouse suite for one of the vendors, who runs an online store for art and collectables.

Basel, not only happens in Miami, they have shows in Hong Kong and Paris, highlighting the works of more than 4,000 artists and 250 galleries.

Pretty worn-out for 34...

I'm not good at guessing a woman's age but I'd say over 40 to be realistic... perhaps 50'ish would be more accurate.

If you don't like SAX...

No two people are the same. While some want sax every day, others are fine without any. For me... I grew up on sax. It was all around as a kid and sax was pure pleasure. But then, the shine tarnished and sax wasn't giving me the pleasure I desired. To be honest, it was annoying as I grew older. Maybe just too much sax in my life ruined it.

Pawn shops and music stores go hand-in-hand. I remember getting my first Spanish guitar from a hock shop. I must have been 12 or 13 years old. If I recall, it was $20 but my dad only had $17 so the store owner made the deal. In school, I studied music. Formally, my instrument was oboe and right behind me was sax... 3 sizes. Alto, Tenor and Baritone. Only one person could play the Baritone as it was so big, they had to sit it in a holder.
One Saturday, my day and I were perusing pawn stores and found a smaller sax. It's size is Soprano and much smaller than the others, also it didn't have a curve at the bottom like the others. I hadn't seen anything like that in the school symphony or the marching band.
I wanted that sax. So, we put $5 down and would return each week making installments until it was mine. If my memory is correct, my dad had a heart attack and was unable to work. It was a short time later he had a triple bypass open heart surgery and was out of work for several months. We never returned to the pawn shop to finish the deal on the sax.

In other blogs, I've mentioned my musical taste is fickle. I could like something one day and not the next...or if there is a style change. On my 'do not listen' list you can find Country Music. To be specific, American country. I grew up in Miami and 'country music' was totally connected to the people in the area. Islanders, listened to different 'country' music.
On the highway one day, a CB'er asked "Where's the country music station?"
My response was "What country?"
laugh
I don't recall hearing any sax in country music. Moot point as I don't listen.

What I do listen to is Smooth Jazz.. but only in small doses as the sax quickly gets annoying. C'mon, aren't there any other instruments suitable to play smooth jazz?
Ian Anderson / Jethro Tull could play flute to rock music, I'm sure somewhere in the world there's a 'kickin' flutist playing smooth jazz.

So.. if you're like me and you don't like sax, I suggest you stay away from smooth jazz.

If you knew Andi...

This must be Andi week and no one told me about it. Usually, I get emails or text messages like Black Friday sales, but Andi shows up unannounced. Yesterday, a new profile appeared with photos of Andi. I won't give out her handle, but she's 31 from Mississippi, if you are curious. I've lost count now if it's the 3rd or 4th Andi appearing on CS this month, but she's been popular with scammers. For many years, Andi photos have appeared on dating sites.

There is another dating site I visit and 2 bogus Andi profiles appeared last night. One from Spain and one from Brazil. Both profiles share the same photos. It's a free site, but you cannot send or read messages without paying... So much for being free. That doesn't matter as many new members buy a month of premium membership and blast out messages to standard members. Small audience and short lived as contact information (email or phone) is prohibited on the first 2 contacts.

So what's it about Andi that makes her so popular? She's adult model Andi Land who has been around more than a decade. Google her name and you will see she's very attractive, slender with black hair in a distinctive style that's parted on one side and 'wraps' around to the other side. Most of her photos are just normal poses so you won't get to see the 'over the top' cleavage and oozing with slut. That's probably why her photos are used so often as the girl next door approach is so believable.

The MUSK phone...

There seems to be some politics going on with app stores Apple and Google and their relationship with Twitter. Maybe a threat or dare if those stores no longer support the Twitter app.

Elon Musk dreams up manufacturing his own alternative phone if "...there is no other choice"

Google says there are over 200 million smartphones in America... Does Elon think introducing a new phone to support Twitter to be a viable enterprise?

What percent of America would run out and buy an "alternative" $700 MUSK phone that isn't compatible with all the existing Apple and Google apps just to run Twitter?

Elon, take a hint... offer your own app that supports Apple and Android, available via Twitter. That's got to be a viable solution as manufacturing and distribution of an entirely new product could be light years into the future!

Con-Ye...

In the news this morning, Kanye West Announced he’s running for U.S. president in 2024.

I guess he's feeling empowered since Twitter resurrected his account on Thursday, November 24 after being previously barred for sharing antisemitic messages.

Hmmm, that makes this a political blog!
