My mom stayed with me until she passed away in 2005. All my children eat Filipino foods. They even learned to cook them from my mom.
My ex husband of 30 years ate all except the parya.
If you visit my blog "my blessings" you'd find out about the abundance of Filipino vegetables here or anywhere in the nation for that matter. So yes, my favorite (sorry about digressing), will always be Filipino foods and don't bother about recipes from anywhere.
I am very grateful meeting u here.
Regards to your family circle.
Right after graduation, 1973, I taught in NWU, went to Manila for my MA and taught at PWU and FEU.
I still have my faculty IDs.
When I moved here I was going to continue at Stanford but I got married and family first came in between my academic ambitions and dreams. No regrets, life was never better. Enjoyed every part of my life. I have 4 lovely children and 7 grandchildren. Just retired now but might have a need to go back to work.
What do you do? I'm PI bound in December. Will visit some friends in Baguio. I was so disappointed the last time I was there. It's too crowded and not much trees anymore like it used to.
I met Mrs.. Academia here in San Francisco, long time ago. I'll PM you.
