I heard the president promoted his Mat-a-Lago business on Twitter. True?

I see they had a golf tournament there today.
Proceeds went to a COVID-19 charity.
I see America isn't in talks with the rest of the globe in regard to vaccines ect..Two weeks ago didn't attend the G20 either..America are standing alone..So if one of the other countries come up with a vaccine will Trump put out his hand?
Mercedes, I posted a blog yesterday with a YouTube video of Trump of doing a news briefing and while he acknowledged the world is working on a vaccine, he made it sound like America is the front runner.
Sorry chat I must of missed it...In saying that it's not how you treat other leaders of their perspective countries all because you think your country is in the lead.

Oh well if there is another war America can fight that war by themselves too.
One other thing..Listening to Trump is a huge gamble..Death toll now reaching 90,000..He's telling all to pack his presidential rallies ..Wanting 50,000 to attend without masks and without social distancing..Poloi took about 20 years for a vaccine ect..I will listen to the health experts because Trump is feeding all Bs in regard to he's magic vaccine..
or sickening in more ways than one.
I have 38 rolls of toilet paper but who's counting? dunno
Apparently, you are. laugh
America maybe open for business, but here in Texas and other states the cases of Covid19 have gone up.

More people are dying in Texas also.

I'll stay at home, watch the news, and see what happens.

There is no need for me to go out there until i'm call back to work (hope it will NOT be soon).
Primary target of the virus - the elderly and the chronically ill.

Secondary target of the virus - the stupid

I do think you should stop fretting about those who want to go to rallies or who laugh at the idea of taking precautions, you know. If there's anyone still out there who hasn't heard there's a bit of a virus going around, or can't see that it could be a problem, are they really valuable to the gene pool, will they really be missed?

Merc - you worry too much. grin

Most people are very into self-preservation. If there ARE crammed rallies they may go off without a hitch and without a single case of the virus, and that will be fine. If a bunch of people get sick from the rallies, they've learned a valuable lesson. If some of them are too sick to vote at the election, Trump might not win. So where is the downside?

We can tell others to think our way until we are blue in the face and nothing will change - something the political and religious bloggers on here seem unable to understand. roll eyes

Same with the virus. Anyone who still doesn't know there's a virus out there is literally too stupid to live. Yet they probably, statistically, will be fine. And if they're not, well, by now the system is well set up to cope with a rush of patients and it IS America and it IS none of our business, it is their business.
