The power's that be, are trying to link everything (and anything) that they can to the IoT
Why? To have better, and (almost) ultimate control of the "underlings of the Earth"
That would basically be that despicably rich, and cozy, top 1% of society...

But they will try to get everybody else linked

They can monitor and know all our activities.
They, the criminals will be deterred to commit crimes because they'd be able to know where they are and what time where they were.
I think this is the best function it would do to us. Don't you think?

Yes. Most awesome place. San Francisco where I lived is very similar to Sydney. Even the prices of housing and properties.
All I need to knis if and when it happens, the benefits for humanity outweighs the bad effects.

If the Governments want to convince you that something is good for you and that you should buy it, they have to make you believe that you can't live without it.
Now, if they want to force you to have it, there will be some resistance and people will begin to smell a rat!

I have not considered that. But, they have been working on technology and most likely it does exist to monitor all those additional things you have mentioned. They have really been researching the brain a lot.

I agree with all that you've said. The question is, do we have power to fight fo humanity's sake?

Many advancements in programming have been since made, to the point now where the computer can program itself.
Therefore, it is no longer directly under the control of humans.
It will do whatever it deems appropriate.
The AI system may not like you to take control.
