The price of gas has dropped sharply. SOME PLACES HAVE DROPPED MORE THAN A DOLLAR A GALLON...
About 9 weeks ago local gas prices peaked. Have you noticed? Prices appear to be going down sharply. Last month, some stations near the highway were a little over $5 per gallon while the cheaper stations were peaking around $4.79 to $4.85I had business in the Hollywood area Wednesday and pleased to see a few stations as low as $4.17 per gallon for cash. I passed the opportunity and got gas in Fort Lauderdale for $4.27 I live in Palm Beach County and cheap gas was around $4.29 today.
A friend who has a membership with BJ's Club got gas on Friday and paid $3.89. That's a dollar less per gallon than he was paying in June!
Typically in the summer months, gas prices rise just when people go on vacation.
Since no one I know has the ability to control the price of oil as it gets to the refineries, all we can do for now is shop around.
There are a few phone apps that monitor gas prices so you can see who has the best price in your area.
Hopefully this is going to be a downward trend making consumers happy!
I pulled up a 6 month chart from the website gasbuddy to confirm my suspicion and the national average was $5.02 on June 12 and $4.40 on July 22. Yes, going down.

The inspiration for this blog was another blog that stated fuel prices were skyrocketing, as in presently happening. That wasn't factual. Prices peaked weeks ago. It made a claim from outdated information as prices were declining. Since I posted this blog, the other blog title was changed and now compares it with a previous administration and that Biden supporters being happy with the high price of fuel.
Was it something I said?
(title edited because some people mistakenly thought I said gas prices were a dollar a gallon. I said they dropped a dollar a gallon) But that's okay, you can still complain about it.

On 8 March 2020, Saudi Arabia initiated a price war on oil with Russia, facilitating a 65% quarterly fall in the price of oil. That situation no longer holds, so of course oil prices have risen accordingly. Over-production resulted in a drop to negative territory, and consequently prices were cheap between Mar and Nov 2020 - nothing at all to do with Trump, but the restoration of previous price started around the End of the Trump era.
At the low price the cost of fracking made that method marginal so it is not surprising that US production fell away - it simply wasn't profitable. Below is a chart of US production around that time.
Gas current price: $4.62 --- Pennsylvania average: $4.63 --- Pennsylvania gas tax: $0.59 per gallon (#1 highest among all states)
I passed those 2 stations in Hollywood again and they were $3.80 today.
Be careful reporting lower gas prices as it goes against another member's blog complaining about Biden and the skyrocketing price of EVERYTHING in America.
That must be a national average as it's more than a dollar in South Florida.
.
Seeing them rise and rise for so many years should have been an indicator.
Knowing this, why did you purchase a vehicle that runs on diesel?

Fuel prices and home energy prices were very stable for about four years until brandon illegally took office in 2021 when he started his promised war on carbon fuels here in the usa.
People want law and order and economic stability. Hopefully we will see them again post november 2022 election.

The night of the election he declared himself the winner knowing there were hundreds of thousands of mail-in votes to be counted.
That's who you are following.
Biden was the only one to step forward against Trump.
Good job, bad job... he's president now and NOTHING you can do will change that.

Mobile who is usually a few cents higher is down to $3.73
Skyrocketing...
Trying to save a doomed trade block would be part of the manipulation..

But for so many reasons now the law is dubious both for yourself and just in general. You're not that richest, most powerful 5% of the worlds population anymore for a kick off, and bigger than this the law is like a sheep trying to use an iPhone. They have this insane idea that they can keep up with the pace of change when in reality they fall further and further behind things as they really everyday. They're practicing a truly insane idea that the government, the state, can keep up with our innovations. They think they can bring justice to a jurisdiction they know absolutely nothing about - and it's going to tear the world apart.
..Fowler CA Chevron { actual gasoline
Was at 4.20 for most of 2018/19... occasionally it dipped to 4.10.
Currently 5ish...but haven't been over there recently.
.. Taxation here is a reflection of our Chinese customs and such. That extra .18¢ tax keeps Crats in high water.

I guess Biden and the Dems are doing something right, not that the Trump lovers would agree.

It's not that our systems are failing people and the planet in general, or anything like that?
Maybe it's not such a bad thing if we are pressured to look for cheaper, more sustainable ways of living.
Europeans have many transportation options not as prominent or available everywhere in the U.S.A. which might make the use or demand for petro in Individual cars less in Europe.

I don't have the time and inclination to research the reason for sudden natural gas price increases but quick search stated:
How is natural gas priced?
Natural gas prices generally are determined by supply and demand fundamentals. Global pricing, especially for liquefied natural gas exports, often is linked to petroleum prices. ??U.S. prices frequently are linked to the Henry Hub in Louisiana.
