Timesheets
Eish, I had forgotten all about timesheets. Friday is timesheet day. Luckily mine was not too difficult. It was a very productive week and working for a government department has a many challenges.Productivity
1. Re-arranged the office furniture twice
2. Moved a wall poster from one nail to another
3. Installed and very thoroughly tested a coffee percolator
4. Prepared, posted and attended to 5 CS blogs
5. Chatted with my GF on Skype every day.
Disruptions in productivity
1. Two meetings with management
2. Cooked up a timesheet
3. Delivered an one hour lecture on behalf of a sick colleague
Notes to management.
1. Installation of percolator is justified as it increases productivity by 30 minutes every day.
2. Time spend on CS is also justified. LDE (Long Distance Education) is part of college policy and constitution.
I managed to sneak home before lunch every day. 35 working days left to pension.
Have a wonderful weekend!

seems like a busy day...
Cannot get all done. Those disruptions interfered seriously with my productivity.
It is really hectic. So hard to fit everything in my busy schedule.
You make it look so easy. I wish I had such a flair to simplify things. If only there were not so many disruptions in my busy schedule.
You are touching a very sensitive point now. Luckily my salary is paid into my bank so nobody will see the guilt when I receive it.
Only 35 days left....lucky guy. we will have to find something else to keep you immensely occupied during that time.
The 35 days will eventually pass and then you can go fishing to your hearts content.
Hmm, it will leave me free to travel. Maybe we should plan a holiday together.
I have always wanted to try that legendary fishing waters of Barbados.
And to get a taste of the local cuisine.
I'm think I can suppress the feeling guilt if I could push up production by writing extra long blogs.
You should visit. I am sure you may be very surprised at your catch in our Caribbean waters.
Yes, with my busy schedule the time will fly. Right now I'm trying to setup a free holiday in Barbados to do some serious fishing. The only island I had ever visited was Robben Island.
Sun, beaches and fishing sounds probably more exotic for me than for you. We only have the beaches and fishing.
You're on. I'm applying for a passport today for sure.
My bank details will follow shortly.
That that is real cool man.
For right now the sign on my office door is
your one is very welcome.
It is the local Barbados cuisine that excites me most. Something to brag about when I return. Cannot come back here bragging about the fish I caught. The people are used to that already.
Unless if it was a very big fish.
Another 5 days left before ending my extra job. Then I will back to my free time for some while. Will also need a daily timesheets at home in case living in chaos or boring, and first of all will stay away that terrible morning call with which my sweet dreams are broken...
Happy weekend.
Yes, I'm counting the days now. Being off sick for so long now made me lazy. Don't want to work anymore.
Enjoy your weekend and keep counting the days to retirement
Cat, at least you have intense and frequent chats with you girlfriend! It dorsn't need more..
Oh no, this cat is not going to sit idle at home. He is going places and doing things this year.
Working is strictly for people who cannot play golf.
But then sadly I cannot play golf either but I can play dominoes. I wonder if it can work?
Now at my old age i have finally learned to appreciate work. I can sit and watch it for hours.
Yes who would ever know what else there is to catch in Barbados. Just thinking about all those exotic island dwellers drives me out of my mind.
even thought it's still 35 days left, you must cherish it, enjoy it, have fun with it. If not, you will feel the days are running very slowly and boring much.
But, if you doing all with happily, that day will come sooner than you thought..
Hoping you will have an unforgettable happy moment on your last days.
FIGHTING !!
I mean ...
Hoping you will have an unforgettable happy moment on your last days of working...
You really want the janitor to report me to the trade union. That is going to be serious trouble if I do his job.
Thank you for your kind wishes. Yes, I am enjoying my last days here and will certainly miss life on the campus.
I'm not quitting; I'm taking pension. I do have other plans for the future and my current occupation stands in the way of that. I will be 62 next month and that is a good time to retire. While I'm still young enough to do some of the things I always wanted to do.
