Tomorrow is World Ocean Day.
Plastic trash is choking our ocean, and 80% of it comes from land.
We can do better!

People don't seem to realize how serious this matter is and the devastating impact it has on marine life. So sad...
Hi Cocheta,
You hit the nail on the head and living by the ocean for the majority of my life one can actually see how the ocean water's quality has deteriorated over the past 10 to 20 years. There is no other way to describe this tragedy but as 'sad'. And this is all the doing of the short sighted selfish 'beings' called man.
all over the Pacific ocean
we love the ocean as well and do every thing we can over here to keep it safe but the BIG BUT is are the big talkers doing any thing about it other than just talk
If I walk the shore after a storm and pick up a handfull of sand there is such a large percentage of it that is sea washed plastic beads I couldnt believe my eyes the first time I seen it. .
sound interesting
Keep up the good work bro. If everyone just made a tiny contribution im sure our grandkids will see the difference.
Know exactly what you are talking about. Scary.
Take a couple of minutes to listen to this kid.
as well sea turtles
Plastic is an all round killer. Land and sea.
Hi Twazzle,
So very true.
It doesn't really work like that unfortunately Lukeon.
The only way I see it is that new plastic should carry such an high tax the people will be forced to recycle it.
Will it ever be built Lets hope so. This is a great lecture about the same kind of projects. Its all about responsibility of designers and big corps.
