How It Is Done
Some of my friends believe that I eat my meat raw, but they are wrong. Generally my meat must be well done, especially if it is on a bone. If there is any redness against the bone, I stop eating it right there. The only exception is rump steak. I’m talking about the beef variety now. Even kudu steaks must be well done. Not cremated or dry, just well done. But when it comes to a piece of rump steak, cut from a domesticated bovine creature, I eat it in a condition when a good veterinary surgeon will still be able to haul it through. I don’t mind if it moos at me when I put my fork into it. It must just not run away.
Do you like it the way I do?
Or do you also think as some of my friends do?
I don’t know why some of my friends believe that they are gods to demand that I bring them burned offerings.
Enjoy the day but don't burn your meat.

hi there, yes must be well done or else I hate to see the red in my meat, plus well done sometimes killed bacteria
style cooking which mean the top and bottom of meat looked kind of cook but inside it was all red I hated that
I've never had any steak or beef before in my life.
I eat only chicken and seafood
I don't really like chicken. When I eat with somebody else and the dish it on my plate, I will eat it if there is no other meat. I never buy chicken. Fish I eat twice a week for lunch. It is not food. For supper I want MEAT.
That is one of the reasons why I like rump steak on the rare side. It is more tastier and much more tender.
Heck! She even smuggled uncooked whole chicken ( up to 3 birds! ) back to Hong Kong!
I only have kudu steaks at the present and those I eat well done.
Smuggles not only chicken but abalone as well
Hope you're feeling much better now?
I'm a beef eater. As I said, I'll eat chicken if it is on my plate but I won't buy it. As a child we had chicken most Sundays and sometimes in the week.
If I have to dish up for myself, I will always take a wing. It is the smallest piece.
My pilot is sick with flu at the moment but as soon as he is better I'll send you a steak with my Lear jet.
Yes, I just remembered, The liver a kidneys I also like (just slightly) underdone. Not bloody though!
No. Not a word.
My (missing) cat's mother has three-week old kittens. I selected one of those. I will collect him in three or four weeks when he is strong enough. I always take the runt of a litter. Somehow they make better animals.
He will be the third (half?) brother to serve me. The first one was killed by a dog and as you know, the second went missing. Both were excellent mouse hunters.
This one better be too. I killed a very large rat in my house two days ago(poison). He came in through a thick PVC pipe in my laundry. I will have to cover it with a grid.
When I was still married my wife bought a whole chicken to prepare for our up-coming fifth anniversary. Why do you want to punish a poor chicken for a mistake we made five years ago, I asked.
I fully recovered, but the chicken had to be thrown away.
I have fish twice a week... for lunch. Sea vegetables does not go well with read meat on the plate. I rather have normal land veggies with it.
Too much trouble getting import and export permits for meat. Mad cow's disease, you know.
Now I am in fish heaven but miss all the mutton.
daai skaap boud in die oond is darem yum.
I have to admit, I also enjoy my meat medium to well done. Only thin I don't really fancy is curry but will have it if offered (just a bite or 2)
I just had word that his health has taken a turn for the worse and he is not expected to make it. That will bring about a two year period of mourning before the plane can take off again, but your request is being being placed in the queue. Please allow about three years for delivery. I made a lot of other promises.
Nooo, I'm not stingy. Believe me, it is coming.
I can do ALL that ...and more
So Catfoot, shall I go ahead and place an order on the wedding trousseau?
You should know by now that I don't respond well to threats.
I'm not about to be blackmailed by you. Of course I will tell him. It is time you take responsibility for your loose mouth.
Holy cow! No steak since then? Cows is not holy in your country, are they? I wonder where else but India are they holy. The Indian restaurants here only do mutton and chicken curries, no beef.
Hm-mm, We shall have to put you on trail first. Maybe a six month test drive to see if it all pans out. Oh yes, then there are a few other Ts & Cs but we can discuss that at a later stage.
But I'm not stingy. I'm just having some logistic problems fulfilling all the promises I made.
My sick pilot only complicated matters.
