Spring at last

The spring equinox was on the 20th, our clocks sprang forward today and the sun is shining. Spring has sprung, the grass is riz, I wonder where the birdies is?

This always feels far more the start of the year to me than the first of January. So what am I going to do with this year?

Resolutions:

1) spend more time in real life than on CS.
2) grow up
3) (insert resolution here)

You're now heading into your dank and snowy winter roll eyes don't forget to wrap up warm hug
3. Grow up to spend less time on CS and more time on Facebook.

Z, you sound like the White Rabbit from Alice, not the stolen chocolate rabbit!

I'll have you know I got the chocolate bunnies off Google snooty
Haha Seri I do need to spend more time on Facebook, I have 3 pages there which need dusting off laugh
I know where you got it, as I said they stole it laugh if you look back through the old blogs for easter you'll see my original professor
Madame Biff, I think they are already out for the search for me...

Happy "stuff your kids/grandkids with chocolate" day!!!
We're enjoying a warm sunny autumn, temp today around 26C conversing

Green everywhere, after some much needed steady rain through the week, just lovely grin

It doesn't tend to get uncomfortably chilly here until August .. Watch this space for my self-indulgent spoiled brat complaints about daytime temps of 15 -17C giggle
Happy Easter and Happy Spring to you Biff and everyone else on here bouquet bouquet bouquet

I've got a dash of Scottish here in my crib giggle giggle giggle

Z, this means you are rich, my old son, RICH! The royalties you can claim are just staggering! daydream

I probably shouldn't have said that right out loud, the rush to Spain of lovelies wanting an eligible millionaire could cause complete chaos at airports all round the world. Oops.

Don't forget your Easter bonnet when you go out cool easter bonnet
Seri, my daughter is half a country away and no grandkids yet, in my case it will be stuff-my-own-face day rolling on the floor laughing that chocolate lipstick look, mmmm!
Oh Serene, how awful for you. All that sunshine and heat. very mad

I just went very slightly off you rolling on the floor laughing
No need of bonnet today, well into the 20's dancing that cool weekend of the meet is now a distant memory sigh

Good grief woman turn the central heating off before you melt!
I hope this royalty claim doesn't backfire and you don't instead find yourself facing a charge of extreme cruelty to chocolate bunnies wow
So what's the temperature where you are, Chrome? Huh.

Three jerseys, and I can't bend my elbows to type. I'll keep the heating on, ta.
Early 30s. Which has nothing to do with the price of eggs scold
3. Move to Spain, lovely weather, people and life style. Bossy, active little friend who would keep you occupied.
PS. Biff, why the hell would you want to grow up?

There are enough boring grownups around!

joy cartwheel joy
Ish, you've MET me. Do I look active? Just keeping up with you would be a full-time job. You would, too. Eek.

Moving to Spain is up there as a definite pipedream, all I have to do is write a couple of books which, if not bestsellers, are at least steadysellers. No problem. I should of course probably be doing that now as part of #1 on my list. sigh
Serene, may you trip and bruise your sunburned nose. snooty

You be careful or I'll come down there with my Scottish weather in tow.It follows me everywhere. Then you'll be sorry. devil
Biff, I don't think I could pull off winsome uh oh
I don't have a clue anyway how to meet someone in real life (or online either for that matter ). I am a bit of a dating disaster.

I started doing the cleaning yesterday. I'm sure though that that will be it for a long time.
Yup, I was told by a mutual friend that I am probably doomed to die a spinster of this parish. How rude. How true, though.

At worst when we are cackling old harridans we can do coach trips and leer at all the beef totty and work out how to get them drunk enough to smuggle to our rooms. You will be mostly in charge, being by the far the younger. And a hair taller.

Didn't do new years resolutions, so not going to do any now. laugh

Write a bestseller woman and move with someone to warmer climates if that's on the agenda. wine

I'm off doing more painting now. sigh
I don't get many mails, and for that I am grateful when I see what I do get.

Latest one:

"No and waiting for yes go a date with women and you"

WTF!
Being a deeply intuitive person, I'm reading between the lines and suspect you are a little depressed.

I wouldn't waste much time on Mr Articulate rolling on the floor laughing
My bacon and eggs is on the hob. Reminds me of that old way of defining the difference between being involved in a relationship, and being committed, by using bacon and eggs as an example.

The hen is involved.
The pig is committed.
Far from depressedlaugh

I have an offer of a dalliance with a hot ex. Plus a new similar typewink

I am just trying to make up my mind if I need a dalliance, or should I put another load of washing onlaugh
(2) growing down

Red, you're NEVER too old. To get grass laid, I mean. roll eyes

But you never are. The lights may need to be a bit dimmer, you may lost a little spontaneity, but never say never. Grass, ahem, is important.

Happy Easter to you too!

Breakfast! about time, the service around here is terrible. gotta go
rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing Biff what do you think my shed is for, cheering cheering
Biff ~ so glad to hear it's warm over there in Scotland. It is pretty showery here [Thunder too ] and just aminute ago a very heavy hailstorm. I love Easter too, I hate Christmas. I love the feeling of hope and rebirth that is so evident in nature, and watching birds outside... for me too, it is a time of resolutions. Mine are kinda like Mollys.
I want to get into a bit of passion , after a long absence.
2. Tidy and clean up the house and painting to be done.
3. The Garden is now a no go area so it needs to be brought back to its
former glory.
4. Try not to be a 'react' person, and become more temperate in my
personality, not so passionate about it all, lay back abit and have
more fun..cheers Have a nice Sunday.
Good woman, Red! applause

Happy Easter everyone easter basket easter egg
PS. I put the load of washing on laugh

The sun is shining and I am heading out now joy cartwheel joy
GG - those are all achievable resolutions. We shall expect an update in, hmm, you've got your hands pretty full at the moment - take 2 months. laugh
Red, I suspected the shed was going to play an important role rolling on the floor laughing
