Interesting fact about indian culture

Many Indian wives will never say their husband’s name aloud, as it is a sign of disrespect. When addressing him, the wife will use several indirect references, such as “ji” or “look here” or “hello,” or even refer to him as the father of her child.f

Words per day

Having ice coffee with jelly from McDo is my favorite drink in a hot day like today.... My friends came and we decided to use my car then we drove to Boko temple, a temple that built for female where in its gate there is a V-image- near to Prambanan temple here in my home town.

We went and sit in panoramic restaurant for having a finger bites snack. From its terrace, we could see the peak of prambanan temple appear from the cloud.... Amazing... While behind it, standing the mighty Merapi mountain saying hi to the sun.

Our meeting is special. Four women who has the same interest and talking here there about sex psychology...

And I just know that women can produce minimal of 8700words per day while men produce a maximum of 2700words per day !!!

So men.... Just in case you ever questioned why women love to talk, this could answer your question.....

Have a good day everyone.....

The Good The Bad & The Ironic

Lately my brain has been dealing with flashes of chaos which goes both good and bad ways at almost the same time.

Both of my granddivas live out of state but one, the flight attendant, flew into town Friday. I got to see her in all her beauty for lunch. Both her parents faced timed her during our lunch because it was her birthday but her Dad didn't want to talk to me because he was having a bad hair day.

However he faced timed me the next day to explain and to have a pleasant chat. It was a happy chat with my ex son-in-law . We both said "I Love You" at the hang up. Sadly he was in a very bad car accident that night. He had to be revived Twice.

I found out the next day when my hysterical granddaughter (also our little drama queen) called to tell me. Her Daddy was on life support but her sister in Calif already flew in. So both divas are in Orlando which is 100 miles from me.

Yesterday Daddy got the tubes out, is doing better and out of ICU. Turns out both Divas are driving up here for breakfast just to eat with me then run by and see my Mom, their Nana.

Not too many people get to live to see their GROWN Great-grandchildren worship them. It is so nice seeing these young people being so responsible because most the millenials are not.

In the background Mama is having her house made hospital friendly and is bringing Dad home right after Christmas. She falls and gets hurt a lot. Not sure how this is going to work out but Dad will have 24/7 care from health workers to family.

What a world.

My fiance and I are planning to celebrate Christmas abroad. but I am not sure he would enjoy it because he was an atheist. and this will be my first experience of parting with my parents at Christmas time. we usually celebrate with another family and my fiance does not ever want to join. Alas...

It's a bit funny talking about Dad's biological clock. Cos he always stays in bed, he mixs up the time of the day and night. Before he is a very punctual person. yay

At daytime, whenever the light is bright, the radio is on, even the noice from outside. Nothing can be effected him, he just sleeps tight like a baby except eating and drinking time. I wonder he is following his own inner body clock when to awake up and fall asleep now sigh So when after dinner he awakes widely and activety, his mind vivid and talks more -- he wants his shoes, he wants to get up to school or to work, or wants to go back to his" own" home... At that moment, all things passed before in his life came to appear to his mind again though all were the fragment of old memories. I had to talk with him in mess. doh

Funny thing would be happened, like once I talked to him; "You looked like an emperor leaning on bed watching TV." He replied:" you are the emperor! Not me." " Why? " "because you are sitting there." Ah, yes, from the images of our emperors, they all sat straight on their chairs...laugh

When it's time to turn off the light, he didn't like the light off and said that I am too stingy to save the electricity, sounded like I was a Scrooge. uh oh I had to say the electricity is cut off... but he didn't aware of the air conditioner was still at work.

One thing I had to admit that I made white lies to him someetimes to calm down his emotions. My mom passed for over 3 years which dad forgot maybe, she was the only woman my Dad often mentioned and looked for. In his deep mind, he still missed her I knew. heart beating Alas. I didn't know how to answer him when he mentioned her, I tried to avoid the word 'dead' , So a white lie is needed for both of us at the present time...

Rumours...

I know its not good to start rumours, but I heard a senior and well-respected member of CS is going to have a baby. Further more, a certain man told me he was thinking of going into rehab. Again. Whats more, they're not being honest about what is in meat pies.

Bling or "Stuff"!!

The term bling means ostentatious clothing and jewelry. A DOOOOD my age just goes for "stuff" or threads and scratch as we called clothing and jewelry when we were young. Scratch also meant money!

I bring that up because when I was young I liked threads, not scratch so much and limited to a watch, but threads were my thing.

I used to wear suits to class at Pasadena (CA) City College. I also had some mean "stomps" (shoes) or "Calkos", if your Hispanic. I was styling.

Age has caught up with me because now I don't care how I look. And sometimes it draws stares and smirks from people. I don't really match stuff like I used to and style doesn't mean much. I was thinking about how long I had some of my "threads" and it's approaching between 10 and 20 years. I had to chuckle remembering my youth!! I wouldn't be causht "dead" not styling!

Last Sunday, after church, I went to eat at a Mexican restaurant. It was named "De La Michoacan". As I walked in I went to the "library" (restroom) because that's what us old guys do. I walked past a White couple and they were .... smirking!! I chuckled inwardly because my "threads" were in tune with "old man" style. And that's what brings this blog up.

All of my "threads" were gifts from my children. I have taken care of them to preserve them as long as possible because the love and affection I feel towards my children and our loving relationship. I know I must have looked corny but when you wear something that symbolizes the love I described above then nothing else matters. Heck, I have a long worn out pair of "Nike" socks that my twins gave me 25 years ago. I look at them with a feeling of tenderness in my heart because I know who gave them to me.

My oldest daughter went on a trip to New Orleans about 30 years ago and I still have the Tee. Yeah, the collar is frayed, it has holes in it and I don't care. I don't wear the socks and the Tee anymore. I keep them carefully folded up and in 2 special places. They are wrapped in a plastic bag and in my heart.

They have given me an array of clothing and most of it doesn't match because these "threads" were given to me over the years, yep, all from 10 to 20 years old, but they are still wearable so wear them proudly I do!! If this couple that smirked at me on Sunday only knew what an old man with wonderful children has on his body and in his heart I am sure they would smile. But they didn't know and that's understandable. There was no meanness intended.

In truth, I also smirked at them because they were both covered with "Tatts". The woman, very attractive had sleeves of "Tatts" and so did her partner. A very handsome looking man! They made a good looking couple but those "Tatts" ruined their appearance. My opinion so it don't mean "jack"!!

Now, I can hardly wait til Sunday to find the most imperfect wardrobe but totally filled with memories and love!

I give the Lord Jesus Christ all praise, credit, honor and Glory!1 Amen & Amen!!
