Cousin Joe...

Joseph was born and raised in New York City. He had a job with the government and a few years after he retired, Joe decided to sell his house and move to Florida.
Not long after, Joe started worrying about his health and took his first colonoscopy at the age of 75. They found cancer and he went through surgery. He was lucky as they removed the cancer and he needs no additional treatment.
Joe was having issues with a swollen thyroid gland and went into surgery to have it checked out. Under anesthesia, they were unable to control his blood pressure and stopped in the middle of surgery. He remained in the hospital for testing and found that 2 arteries near his heart were blocked by 80%
Open-heart surgery would have been the normal procedure, but since he already had one issue, 2 stents were the least invasive and best thing.
He's recovering and should be out of the hospital this week.
All things considered... I wish him the best and reluctant to celebrate at the 'all you can eat' sushi restaurant. Pizza may also be out of the question.

Trump Haters

In my quest to try and understand the haters mind, I came across this article.

December 11, 2020

Why They Hate Trump

By Jeffrey Folks

Simply put, they hate Trump because he represents ordinary Americans — those who are not part of the political and corporate elite, who lack the advantages and connections of the Deep State, who are not media, academics, or celebs.  President Trump puts ordinary Americans first, and it drives the elite nuts.

The elite have spent so many years enjoying their advantages, including the psychological advantage of despising ordinary people, that they panicked when someone tried to take it all away from them.  They can't go on living without that warm, reassuring sense of superiority.

Contempt for average Americans was palpable in Hillary Clinton, which is why she lost the election of 2016.  It was just too obvious.  Joe Biden conceals it somewhat better, or perhaps he just cares more for other advantages of office — for both himself and family members.  Either way, he is taking advantage of ordinary people.

What really upset the elite was that average Americans were beginning to believe in themselves.  Their wages were rising for the first time in decades, and they felt proud to be restoring America to what it could be.  If Biden wins, that will be lost.  The everyday American can crawl back to his cell and watch the country stagnate for another four or eight years.

What if the deplorables — the guy who delivers the bread to your supermarket, the woman caring for three children at home, the insurance salesman, the Target checkout clerk — were actually smarter than the Washington types, smarter than you in the universities and the media?  For the elite, it would mean that the world had been turned upside-down.

That's exactly what President Trump began to accomplish in four years.  For four years, those everyday Americans were treated like something special, listened to, moved to the front of the line.  Trump rallies were exciting because they were primarily a celebration of the rise of the real America — of those who get up five mornings a week to an alarm clock, start the car in the cold, drive to work in the dark, put in eight or ten hours, come back to football on TV in a two-bedroom apartment, bathe and sleep, and do it again and again.  On weekends, they coach and volunteer and attend church and care for family and neighbors.

This is a way of life that the Washington elite despise.  They prefer $300 restaurants, chauffeured limos, escort services funded by lobbyists, drugs and alcohol, junkets to exclusive resorts, secret bank accounts, and the status of high office.

The elite think they are so far above us, but they are not happier for it.  It's the parents in Oklahoma with their newborn child, the kid in Indiana receiving his first promotion, the grandparents in Florida living on not much more than Social Security but still giving of themselves — these are the great Americans who understand what President Trump is talking about, and they are the Americans he understands and respects.

Can you say Obama understood and respected these ordinary Americans?  Or the Clintons, or even the Bushes, with their New England heritage and Texas money?  Or Nixon, LBJ, or Kennedy with his serial adulteries?  Or Carter, with his twisted ideology of "save everyone in the world at the expense of the American middle class"?  Only Reagan and Trump put ordinary Americans first.

Now, unless the Supreme Court steps in, it's back to "normal."  Already the word has come down from Biden appointees — herd the riffraff back to their pens, tape their mouths, steal their votes, and strip them of their rights.  It's high times again in Washington.

Is this my fate, or this is my fate...

Both of my cousins who relocated/retired to Florida are musicians. The one who is 4 miles from me is active for small events, parties as a soloist on keyboards with some programmed electronic drum tracks. When possible, he hires out as a trio with a guitarist and bassist.

Several times we talked about his bass player going through some health (and personal) issues that is affecting his wanting to gig and if I'm interested should his guy decide to leave the trio. I said yes, but I'm no where 'up to speed' to play 40 songs at a gig. I'll need more time. He knows, I've got several bass guitars and amps and can 'rock & roll' at a moments notice... well, assuming I know the songs. But I want to be 100%

He's booked a local gig at a club in downtown as a duo because the club owner didn't want the trio. The bassist was offended and indicated it might be time for him to move on... I'll go to his gig, not to play and no expectations other than getting the experience of seeing them perform live, so I can make a few recordings. That way, I can fit in seamlessly and be an asset to the group.

I've been asked to provide some photos of me, the bass and me playing the bass along with a short write-up of my musical background so he can include it in an introduction sheet of the members with some list that he emails people who would be interested in hiring the group.

Doubting I can make this happen quickly, he's heard some of my demo tapes from years ago and said it should be no problem. He feels really good about this and said "Don't worry cuz, this is your fate."

Is Immigration to Ireland OUT OF CONTROL. Ireland is Full.

It looks like things are out of control in Ireland. Many videos of violence theft and destruction there in the link below.

"Is immigration to Ireland 'out of control'?

Many in the land of a 'hundred thousand welcomes' are worriedWhile the UK has grappled with contentious migration legislation, immigration has barely featured in public discourse across the Irish Sea. Now, that could be about to change, Stephen Murphy writes."

The funniest bumper/window stickers...

Over the years, I've seen lots of different stickers on cars. Not as many "Baby on Board" as years ago. More 'weapons owned' than family member window stickers. 911 was an inside job is a favorite. Political stickers have a long lifespan. They are on some cars long enough for the edges curl from the Florida sun and weather making them age... lots of TRUMP 2020 are still around and a few 'The 2020 election was rigged' stickers exist.
The COEXIST isn't seen very often... nearly as dead as the "If you can read this, you're too close BACK OFF!!"

Entering my community yesterday, was a car with a bumper stick I haven't see before. I followed the car until he parked and asked "Where did you get that bumper sticker?"
The guy said AMAZON.
I said "it's the first time I've seen that one."
We laughed and he said "You probably won't see too many of these in Florida"
I nodded.

Coffee drinker vs Tea drinker

There was a survey done many years ago about who loved outdoor activities among the coffee and the tea drinkers? I'm not sure if it is still relevent today.

The findings : Coffee drinkers were found to love outdoors compared to tea drinkers.

I am a coffee drinker and I love my coffee especially Nescafe. I can't live without it. When I was younger I loved jungle trekking, camping and travelling(still do) . I'm a member of Malaysian Girl Guides Association
(it is known as Girl Scouts in America). Now, I've slowed down a little. Once a while I will join in their activities.

A huge Task Ahead.

When Trump becomes POTUS later this year he will have a phenomenal task ahead one that is even bigger than when he takes up the reigns from Barack Obama.
The absolute mess made by Biden and his corrupt band handlers is a challenge only a man like Trump can accept, conquer and repair.

Fortunately he has overwhelming support from good solid Americans that still have good moral values, integrity and self respect.
Acting with integrity means understanding, accepting, and choosing to live in accordance with one's principles, which will include honesty, fairness, and decency. A person of integrity will consistently demonstrate good character by being free of corruption and hypocrisy.
Like he said the biggest deportation of illegals will take place as soon as he takes office.cheering
Defusing the wars and all the ill will Biden has caused in the past 4 years will be a miracle in itself but the world knows that this brilliant businessman and leader who was persecuted by MSM and the democrats, for years, will have the strength and will-power to do this task.
applause applause VIVA TRUMPcheering cheering

Enough is enough take a break.

Is it almost curtains for America

With the government gangsters and the alphabet agencies along with a (so called)president that is Soo corrupt and in bed with China and a weak military. Trump was trying to build back up the military then ole uncle Joe comes right in and leaves all of our expensive military equipment for our enemies, hmm, now tell me is this for America or for our enemy. And then time and time again letting our enemies beat us and give them $$ to do it. Smells like COMMUNIST, SOCIALIST, MARXIST'S, FASCISM to me.Whoever can't see this or add up what the joe regime is cooking, don't want to or are themselves what I said in capital letters,PERIOD !sigh doh ??

The HIGH cost of supporting Trump...

Big news topic this month are the dollars pouring out of supporters wallets and into the hands of Donald Trump. I read that while the money was intended as campaign donations, the bigger portion is being used to pay his legal fees. Reported yesterday, that number has exceeded $50 million and expected to go higher.

Alina Habba wasn't good representing him for the E.Jean Carroll case, the jury awarded
Carroll $83 million and Trump is seeking a new legal team to represent him for the appeal.

Hotelier Robert Bigelow stated that a few weeks ago, gave Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump $1 million for his legal fees.

As a kid, we used to enjoy caramel-coated popcorn that came in a box, sold under the name of Cracker Jack. The lure was a prize inside. It didn't take long to figure out the prize was at the bottom of the box, so all you have to do was turn it upside-down, open the package and get your prize. Usually it was some worthless plastic (fits all) ring that got tossed aside, leaving you with a box of popcorn.

My thought here is when will Republicans come to the realization that all that sugar is on puffed up corn with a useless prize. Like Herpes, is this the gift that keeps on giving?
