Like your coffee black? You may be a psychopath...

Christina Sagioglou, study author and psychologist at the University of Innsbruck in Austria, and her colleague Tobias Greitemeyer, sought to investigate how bitter taste preferences may be associated with antisocial personality traits. Approximately 1,000 people with an average age of 35 were analyzed in two separate experiments.

Hi, Big Brother, didja see what I just did ...

My bank in Spain will shortly have the technology to produce the details of a payment – not just that I bought at a supermarket, but the copy of the sales slip. Woah!

Maybe not that efficiently, since they had the wrong retailer listed against the payment rolling on the floor laughing but the PDF option promised ‘soon’.

When my daughter visited recently she brought UK bank forms for me to change my address, and took them back with her. A week later when I tried to transfer funds to my euro card, which is operated through a completely different bank, it was declined because my address had changed. No problem, I could create a new account with correct address linked to the same card, but uh oh

When I logged in to do my UK tax return HMRC said “right, you earned this much from this employer, and this was the PAYE deducted. Then this much through the temp agency, and this was the PAYE deducted."

Not complaining, since the P60 from the temp agency has never caught up with me and I was intending to show it as untaxed income rather than faff around (not a big amount) but has anyone else noticed Big Brother is keeping much closer tabs than before?

So far it has been helpful but . . . uh oh

What I've been up to

I've been spending a lot of my free time -of which I have quite a large
amount at the moment- messing about with a 3D modelling computer
programme. It also does animation. It isn't simple to use, in fact, it is
quite complicated and would probably require a college course to gain
proficiency. After much persistence I am starting to get to grips with the
basics.

This is a sample of my achievements so far. Providing I can manage to
upload it to the blog.

Vastley Enormous & Ultra Skinny

Obese:
Why do people become addicted to food and sweets?
Anything I want I do, who cares what others think...
Special bed, wheelchair, chair...
Can't fit in a normal car..
Why misuse your body, to that extend?
It must be painfull…

Anorexia:
Is a sickness, but on the direct opposite,
here you do anything in your power not to eat,
or with bulimia eat like a glutton, and just puke it out right after...
Mostly all people had gone through some form of this disease...
Most people want to be thin...
Ultra thin models to look up to...

The world is sick, many times...

under appreciated

How is it that our brains can replicate such "perfect" details in our dreams, while our awake brains can only recall certain details?

It is not like when we go to sleep we plug ourselves into a cable tv connection....I am simply amazed at how powerful our brains are and we often overlook it.

Such a mystery.

Portal...

Years ago, my doctor sent email for me to access my medical records on a portal. I didn't bother. I decide to buy a house and the realtor needs me to sign in to their portal to upload and share information. I have no choice but to comply. The home inspector uploaded his report to a portal that I must access, read, review and e-sign it's acceptance. Yesterday, the mortgage company needs me to create a profile on their portal to upload requested tax documents and e-sign their forms.

With every portal is a profile name and password. I've been writing this down on a sheet of paper. It's time to rewrite all of this and scan it in the event things get lost or misplaced when moving to the condo in December.

I somehow feel like a time traveler going through so many portals...
