women's discrimination

I am surprised the women have not gotten together to protest this....blatant discrimination that has been going on for years.

It is called pretty privilege.

We are taught that beauty is in the eye of the beholder...while there is some truth to that, there are many characteristics of humans that are commonly held in favorable view....and considered beautiful.

Do you really want me to go through and post evidence of that?

How many of you noticed that attractive women get important positions in the workforce? Yes, there are unattractive women too that get great workforce positions...but pay attention to how many beautiful women get those positions over other women....Hollywood actresses, weather ladies, television hosts....the list just goes on.

I feel sorry for you ladies.

When you find a life partner...you inherit..

You inherit more than just their body.

Here are some of the things that I have thought of that you inherit when you find a life partner....maybe not inherit directly, but maybe also indirectly.

You inherit their:

their debt
their criminal history
their health
their family
their wealth
their hate
their love
their personality
their enemies
their friends
their philosophy on life
their disease
their headaches
their positive glow of energy
their caring
their dislikes
their hygiene
their filth
their education
their ignorance
their burdens
their resources
their touch
their coldness
....everything about them

Of course....you give equally.

It makes me wonder, is that why hook up culture is so prevalent today? Have people become too ugly for a lifetime partnership? Or, have they become too selfish to take on another's "everything"....or too greedy to share their "everything." Or is it...they are too busy to take on or share their "everything." No matter what it is...it should tell you something about them.

Just a little something....

Happy Friday all.

93-year-old woman gets hefty Coors Light delivery after viral plea for more beer

Embedded image from another site

A 93-year-old Pennsylvania woman received 150 beers from Molson Coors on Monday in response to her viral plea for more beer during the state’s lockdown, a report said.

Reps from the beverage giant delivered 10 15-packs of Coors Light to Olive Veronesi’s Seminole home, news station KDKA reported.

The senior cracked open a can of the suds with the workers still there. “That tastes pretty good,” Veronesi told the network.

Veronesi said she was down to her last 12 beers when a family member snapped a hilarious photo of her holding a Coors Light can and a whiteboard saying, “I need more beer!!”

“I have a beer every night, you know what, beer has vitamins in it, it’s good for you, as long as you don’t overdo it,” she told KDKA on Monday.

Mark Linder, one of the Molson Coors reps, told the outlet he and his coworker “made sure Olive got her beer so she can continue her healthy regimen of a Coors light a day.”

meaningless random thought about war

What if war is a human test of will. A test of God...or a test of our Maker(s)....as soon as people choose to refuse to kill other humans....we pass some sort of test.

Your habits will kill you – eventually. HOW many smokers died over 100??

I just found out the glamorous Joanna Lumley smokes up to 40 cigs a day, at 77. THEN I found out research is very quietly being done to see if smoking, when of course it doesn’t kill you, makes you live longer. I did some research of my own. I have no idea how kosher this list is. The link is at the end of the main post, and I think the list will have to run into comments, it's LONG. I did some spot-checks and discarded a few obviously dodgy ones. Cheer up. It could be diet, or booze, or coffee. Nobody seems to know. But golly.

smoking Jeanne Calment, who died in France at the age of 122, was known for three things: her quick wit, her fondness for bicycling around the small city where she grew up - and the fact that she was a daily smoker. At 117 she quit smoking (because she was blind and was too proud to ask often for someone to light her cigarettes for her) but resumed smoking when she was 118 because, as she said, not smoking made her miserable and she was too old to be made miserable.

Marie-Louise Meilleur, of Canada, became the oldest living human being when Calment died. She had chain-smoked all her adult life but quit at 99. She died at 117. So the jury’s still out there.

smoking John McMorran of Lakeland, Florida smoked cigars, drank beer and ate greasy food. His eyesight failed in his final years, and people needed to shout for him to hear them, by the time he died at 113.

smoking The Queen Mother, mother of the late QE2, was a bon vivant who loved horse racing, gin cocktails, champagne and cigarettes. She died at 101. (For balance it should be noted the King died quite young of lung cancer and his daughter was violently anti-smoking as a result, as is the present King.)

smoking Hollywood director Billy Wilder, a heavy smoker, died at the age of 95. No wonder smoking is banned from the silver screen. Not even 100!

The above facts were cherrypicked from this link and more (and some non-clebs, but older) follow in the comments. This blog is obviously only for those downtrodden skulking puffing behind the bins as the non-smokers will instantly dismiss it as propaganda. Yup! Somewhere to point when people sneer that smokers are too stupid to realize they are killing themselves.

Who are we?

Who are we? Without feedback from others? Without a job that we have made business owners money for.

Who are we?

What do you think? Who are you?
