Where is the logic - II

Upon arriving to Charles de Gaulle, while the plane was taxiing to the terminal, saw a fox trotting along the runway strip. What was it doing there? Looking for road kill?

Autumn's blog

I met a panther chameleon for the first time the other day. They are truly amazing, and beautiful lizards. I've had quite a few pet lizards growing up in Arizona. I had a green iguana for many years. Panther chameleons, are the most tame, and hardy of the chameleon family. They come from the island of Madagascar. It's sad that the giant tortoise, leamer, and elephant bird are all extinct. I would have liked to see those animals. I can't wait to get my pet chameleon. I'm not sure what to name him yet. I may try breeding them once I get the hang of raising them. They are not too terribly hard to care for. I'm not sure what to expect from these unique lizards, but it should make a intresting experience documenting their day to day lives.

Fun Fun!

I have found a website that takes your Astrological sun sign and combines it with your Chinese Zodiac sign. It's fascinating. I'm a wolf. grin

"Like their animal namesake, those born under the sign of the Wolf are passionate, determined, and never back down from a fight. Though generally mild mannered and even easy-going (when things are going their way), members of this sign are very protective of themselves and the ones they love, and will not let anyone intimidate or coerce them. They are generous, warm-hearted, and perhaps a bit stubborn. Though they hold their friends and family very dear, Wolves also have an independent nature that compels them to seek their own path in life.

Wolves simultaneously seek security and adventure - two things that don’t tend to coexist very well. That said, their determination to live their lives exactly how they desire makes having both a possibility. They simply don’t accept limitations when it comes to something they are passionate about and would rather fight than run from a challenge.

As strong as they seem, those born under this sign are easily hurt emotionally. They secretly care deeply about how others perceive them and can be sensitive to even the smallest insult. Should they have a falling out with someone, they will most likely need time alone to let the wound heal. Wolves like to believe that everyone respects them as much as they want to be respected and can’t stand to be derided or treated poorly by anyone."

Pretty accurate! Wonder what you all are....

Snake and the Cat

Yesterday on my backyard I was just sitting down having a beer and minding my own, then I saw some movement from my right, it was a snake, being followed by a cat, the cat trying desperately to get a good grab from snake's head, snake making that noise ssss, while cat jumping back and forth, for not to be bitten by snake, suddenly like a lightning cat finally took snake head into its mouth, that was the end of that snake and for the cat, a delicious large size meal.cats meow

I Found a Wascally Wabbit Today!!

My job with a house building firm has moved. They moved to a building in Riverside, CA and it's pretty cool. There's a lot of new stuff so I am still learning about the new area. We are butted up against a hill that was once a wilderness area and is home to the strangest animals. The one familiar animal, however, are the Cotton Tail rabbits.

Today as I was cleaning in this kinda isolated area and a small newborn, or actually days old, animal came crawling out from under the stack of PVC pipes. It was so young it's eyes were still closed and it was hairless.

As he crawled onto the asphalt it started getting burned, it's been in the 90's here, and it started squirming. The little guy was pretty strong because it was crawling at a fast pace and when it hit the asphalt it really squirmed. Poor little guy!

I put him in a box and covered him with a rag and he just snuggled and got quiet. I told a lady in the office and pretty soon everyone had to look with ooh's and ahh's. It was really cute.

Well, then the guys in the warehouse started getting interested and the Wascally Wabbit was finally adopted by this guy whom I think will make a great "Mr. Mom". One of the ladies printed a bunch of advice sheets on how to adopt an abandoned in the wild animal and so the man that adopted "Wascally" will have a good start.

I kinda miss the little guy now! Hee Hee!
