More great news on the military bioweapon.......

Wuhan flu.....
Seems like a third allergenic phenotype of this delightful bug has been detected. These viruses, when under strong selective pressure, as via effective counter measures, preventive or therapeutic, can mutate faster than a Georgia coon hound can chase squirrels up a tree.
But don't take my words for it. Ever had more than one common cold per season?
On the possibly positive side, to be added to flu like prodromal/ full syndromic signs and symptoms, and decreases in smell senses, are two more. Newer bumps on the tongue, and redness on the palms of hands, and soles of footsies. Nice.
Recall that Dr. Fauci was well in the loop, VERY well, of US funding for this PRC CCP viral arms research. The same wannabee who is recorded on again/off again---THREE times---on the logic of wearing the mask. Google it.
One of the highest paid US government Democrat-bureaucrat seat warmers. $400 large per year. Think of all the retirement this will require of US tax payers?
Any of y'all rubes outside of government dis-service, and in the dreaded private sector, have defined retirement benefit and pension plans? No? Didn't think so.
Finally, while he did have some initial supervisory role in the failed and costly, VERY costly, lab bench research for a vaccine to HIV, his training is in internal medicine, not in public health. He wouldn't know epidemiologic thought if it came right up and bit him squarely on the arse. Doesn't it show?

All animals are equal, but some are a bit more equal than others. Tootles, all.

Chillin'

We've been experiencing a heat wave for several days now.
It's too hot for us humans. Imagine how it feels with a thick layer of fur.
The following scene occurred in the state of Virginia 2 days ago.

"Hey kids, why don't you go cool off in the pool I bought you."

"There's no room mom." "Huh ?"

"Take a look"

Arkansas.....

Texas....and a few dozen other states. When a dog is rabid, all states and territories put them "to sleep". As with many of these largely beyond treatable human convicted murderers, drugs (coctails) are preferred. Liberals are making a fuss over the alleged "pain and suffering" these killers experience on the final gurney. Of course, compared to the suffering they caused their victims, and to the gas chamber, noose and electric chair, these objections are really below laughable. Six rifles, five cartidges. next topic, folks. Or two in the hat, as in many other enlightened (or otherwise) places. And it shouldn't take two decades, and cost tax payers millions, while victims families await justice in (difficult to treat) pain and grief. Aa.

Today I Buried A Kitten

It was barely two months ago that this kitten came into the world. It seems like so much longer. It was a little boy that was born to a female gray-striped cat that I named Sheba. She was abandoned by her owner and left starving in the woods, so I fed her and developed her trust.

Her kitten was severely injured somehow. I have not found the source nor figured out how. It was filled out and looked healthy, and then it showed up limping along like a drunken pirate leaning to one side, barely able to move forward. It could have been a dog or a snake that harmed it. I'll never know. The poor thing looked like it's belly went to his chest and there was no longer any stomach where it should be. It was breathing too hard and fast. There was no blood anywhere, and I could not find any puncture wounds nor bite marks.

For awhile, it seemed as if it would recover. I gave it antibiotics and monitored it closely. Last week, it wasn't breathing as well and was losing the remainder of it's weight. There are no vets nearby and no one to carry me.

The baby stopped eating two days ago and died this morning. I asked the people who owned this place if they would tell me where to bury it, help me to dig a hole, or how they wanted to take care of it. Where I come from, you don't leave dead animals around to rot. Even in the country and on the roads, at least animal control would come by and pick up the dead animals and dispose of them.

No one seemed to care. I spoke to my landlords, my neighbors, and never received a reply. This afternoon while they were doing whatever they had on their agenda, I went and buried this poor kitten.

No one helped. There were two men nearby that I had asked, and not once was I told that they would take care of it. I went back out into the heat of the day, grabbed the shovel, went behind a building and near a tree and struck the ground to see if I could get the shovel into it. Slowly, inch by inch, layer by layer, I made a circle and broke some roots as I did my best to pull up some dirt. I kept at it until the hole looked big enough. Then I picked up the plastic bag that I had the animal inside of and placed it in the ground. I carefully covered it up and placed a large concrete block on top of the mound hoping that the dogs could not dig it up.

I'm not used to being ignored when I ask someone to do something for me. Especially when it is something that I feel a man could help with. It made me even sadder to think about the animals in this world where people have no compassion nor empathy.

I hope others will become more sensitive and aware of the animal's plight as well as the emotions of others who care for them.

The Post Office

In light of what is happening in our world today, I thought the
following might bring a smile to your face.
A letter from the Post Office... this is absolutely the best!!
We don't know who replied, but there is a beautiful soul working in the
dead letter department who understands LOVE......

Our 14-year-old dog Abbey died last month. The day after she passed
away my 4-year-old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how
much she missed Abbey.

She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to
Heaven, God would recognize her.

I told her that I thought that we could, so she dictated these words:

Dear God,

Will you please take care of my dog? Abbey died yesterday and is with
you in heaven.

I miss her very much. I 'm happy that you let me have her as my dog
even though she got sick.

I hope you will play with her. She likes to swim and play with balls.

I am sending a picture of her so when you see her you will know that
she is my dog.

I really miss her.

Love, Meredith

We put the letter in an envelope with a picture of Abbey & Meredith,
addressed it to God/Heaven. We put our return address on it.
Meredith pasted several stamps on the front of the envelope because she
said it would take lots of stamps to get the letter all the way to heaven.
That afternoon she dropped it into the letter box at the post office.

A few days later, she asked if God had gotten the letter yet.

I told her that I thought He had.

Yesterday, there was a package wrapped in gold paper on our front
porch addressed, 'To Meredith' in an unfamiliar hand.

Meredith opened it.

Inside was a book by Mr. Rogers called, 'When a Pet Dies.'

Taped to the inside front cover was the letter we had written to God
in its opened envelope.

On the opposite page was the picture of Abbey & Meredith and this note:

Dear Meredith,

Abbey arrived safely in heaven. Having the picture was a big help and I

recognized her right away.

Abbey isn't sick anymore.

Her spirit is here with me just like it stays in your heart. Abbey
loved being your dog.

Since we don't need our bodies in heaven, I don't have any pockets to
keep your picture in so I'm sending it back to you in this little book for
you to keep and have something to remember Abbey by.

Thank you for the beautiful letter and thank your mother for helping you
write it and sending it to me.

What a wonderful mother you have. I picked her especially for you.

I send my blessings every day and remember that I love you very much.

By the way, I'm easy to find.

I am wherever there is love.

Love,
God

Non political blog No 1. (Mostly), Dogs...

How is it that we naturally know when a dog is using play behaviors? Probably coevolved with us, Methinks. The front paws low on the ground, arse up in the air, Eyes bright, ears partially back, tail a waggin' a mile a minute, and that broad open mouth doggy smile. Who doesn't naturally sense all this is saying, "let's romp?" OK, can't resist making this at least a little political. Bravo loves TV, especially animal shows. But he only watches Republican adverts. He's glued to the boob tube whenever our brilliant POTUS gives a thoughtful speech.

How Wolves Change Rivers - By Adam East

In 1926, there were no longer wolves in Yellowstone, once the natural habitat of this species. Between 1977 and the re-introduction in 1995, we have reliable reports of wolves being seen throughout the park. Most of them were either lone wolves or pairs, probably only transiting.

Finally, in 1995, grey wolf packs were reintroduced in the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone National Park and Idaho. The effects were more striking than anyone could have expected. The entire ecosystem of the national park transformed and it went so far that even the rivers changed.

How could this have happened? Watch the clip and marvel at the amazing way in which nature works.

FOLKS WHO SEEM PROUD OF MULTIPLE MARRIAGES....

So a lady, originally from PR, member of a foreign language group, started to come on to me. Visits at house, gifts from the cocina, asking this car guy to help out with her aging Honda Rav 4, and so on. Hello greeting kisses on mouth soon followed. In time, she began to tell me a little about herself, including 6, count them, SIX !, marriages, all ending in ways that seemed to place her in a good light. Now, I'm hip, as our twins' mom and I, never betrothed, on splitting, do remain good friends, and caring coparents. But for those believing in powers above traditional science, Bravo NEVER pees up the Aa mansion. But when she began to list the hubbos, one to six, Bravo got right up, and began spraying the rugs. Easy clean up, and of course I was nice to him, but it got me thinking. Dogs sense all sorts of things in humans. Now these animals are used to find occult cancers and predict seizures, and lots more. Did he sense some anxiety, etc. from one of us, or perhaps something else? Anyway, she soon turned out to be a gold digger and little more, so she got the hook. Perhaps he was protecting her, or me, or all three of us? VKH-Aa.

So am I mumified? These beetles, 5 - 8 mm long, are walking here around me, but to me it seems I am still sort of alive, but they should feed on dead animals and their parts like hair and horn only.
They can digest Keratin, which is quite special.
Living in bird nests e.g., they may show up in planting soil fertilized with pieces of horn, too. And this may be the case and the reason here.

The family Trogidae is called "Erdkäfer", soil beetles.
