When did all this clutter and distractions in our lives become necessary? Our way of life has become disproportionately over complicated. Simple tasks now involve elaborate processes to complete. In the short time I've become a functioning member of society, things have gotten out of hand.

Think about it. We are constantly on edge. We have cell phones we are constantly looking at, we have checking accounts we have to monitor, transactions we have to keep an eye on, fluctuating interest rates on loans and mortgages to worry about, calorie intake to monitor due to increasingly unhealthy (and unnatural) foods, credit scores to keep up (because they have basically become a lifeline for being a functional member of society), taxes, oh and the list could literally go on forever.

The point is, we are living based on these cultural guidelines brought on by mainstream society rather than actually taking a moment to breathe and think about what's actually important to ourselves. We should be spending our time and energy on our own priorities, not priorities prescribed to us by society. How many people go through the motions everyday and are considered to be doing well by society's standards, but are actually stressed, miserable, and depressed? Who's to tell us we have to get a college education to succeed? Why do we have to succumb to the slavery of corporate America just to be considering prosperous? Why do we have to take out loans for expensive cars, homes, boats, etc. just so we can be looked upon as successful?

Many people blindly carry on without even thinking about how unimportant it all really is. These kind of people probably envy the adventurous nomad traveling the world with nothing in their name but the clothes on their back. That's where simplicity shines in it's truest form, where life is stripped to the bare essentials and worrying becomes a distant afterthought. We take vacations, and even those are over complicated and it doesn't compare. We need plane tickets and passports and visas and completely ridiculous bullshit just to leave the country.

The American dream isn't a dream of you or me. It's a guideline that we are expected to strive for, a meaningless trophy. And if you don't succumb to it, you are frowned upon and are considered worthless. It's why so many of us struggle for happiness. It's why so many of us are obese. It's why nobody has any ambition to do anything out of the ordinary. It's an imprisoning theme that is hard to escape.

Because honestly, I'm stuck in it too. And even though I have these thoughts of a simpler thought without credit harassing and debt being the basis of life, I'm still stuck in this system. Pretty soon we might make things so complicated our brains actually explode.

Anyway, these are our own mistakes we learn from.. And this time I definately will..

I'm new to this and everyone else seems very capable, so if I'm doing something incorrect here...PLEASE bear with me!? :)

Then some of the scribes and pharisees said to him, "Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you." He said to them in reply, "An evil and unfaithful generation seeks a sign, but no sign will be given it except the Sign of Jonah the prophet. Just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale three days and three nights, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights." (Matthew 12: 38-40).

Some of the rumars I hear about what some people are doing and practicing these days is just scarey.
Legalism and trying to play God in people's life or your own for that matter is dangerous point blank.
An evil and unfaithful generation seeks a sign is where we are at now can you smell and see it I can.

People are hungrey for the wrong things, such as wonders, signs, miracles. Will those things strenghten your faith?? Maybe but it can be a hindrance to your walk with the Lord. Got to remember one thing and that one thing is this.

You can't do miracles or wonders in the Lord without Him. The Lord isn't interested in people who chase these things apart from Him. I've had some experience with a certain person trying to force the Lord to perform miracles in my life. This person has learned the hard way we arn't the boss He is, and God help this person if they continue, when we fight out of His hands it's never good and satan wins.

Alot of the problem is alot of Believers look at the old story's and try to be like those guys? Well you can't we are not under that percesution and to thrist for that or want it your insane. Calm down let God be God in your life and walk in His love what else matters???

I was in a room I go to alot chat that is, and it's full of atheist and such. They are rude make fun of believers call us tards, mentals, take your meds etc. Kinda ticks me off, I know Jesus said the whole turn the cheek deal but man do they push it huh?? I said boldly I score no points with God witnessing to you, I do it out of Love and it ends there.

If you shut up calm down and just look at things in the Lord's eyes and learn His voice in His presence.
You will know what He wants to do through you and not have to get alll nutty to force things He never meant. Bible clearly says don't test the Lord.


Of course people want a sigh and miracles, thier sin and rebellion has separated them from the presence of the Lord and they are starving for Him. I mean you have seeds that don't understand salvation because it is soooo mixed up and taught different and people make it almost impossible to be with one with the Lord.

You have to repent daily, you have to be humble to Him with pure motives and a good heart. We have to receive Grace ((Spirit)) everyday for that contentment lost of guilt and confidence in Him.

We have to calm down the harvest is ripe, no insane signs or miracles. Just people consumed in the Love and Spirit of Christ preaching praying and just letting God be God for the salvation for the lost. With that applied in your life no matter what anyone says you are living salvation. Anything else well good luck, you'll end up in a mental state you will not be useful to the Lord. Can't stand or work for the Lord without the Lord so apply that and calm down!!!!!!!!!!!
