I happen to agree with the sentiments expressed by Mr. Cowen.

Back to the same old flim-flam "which shell is the pea under" slight of hand ,.....so old and worn out rehtoric.
I love the "read the Hamas charter" part. As if Israel dosn't have a "charter". What would the Israeli charter state? Just exactly how would they present the Jew-Gentile position? Or the concept of "Goy" . Why wouldn't any other nation take offense to being thought of as "lesser than"?
Israels proven track record of doing any and everything it deems warrented, Irreguardless of International condemnation proves it's "hidden" agenda.
It's Israel vs ? Everyone? I'm American and it sickens me every time I hear or read "the US, Israels strongest supporter,.." Well I for one am not a supporter of Israel..
And I'm sure there are millions of other Americans that don't
go along with that either. Its so sad. Here you have a nation
with so much promise,..such a future,..only to behave like this.

Pray for the children of Gaza and Israel, for it is they that will have to carry this burden. What a sad, sad display of paranoia. "Everyones out to get you". No one is out to get

You really don't have a bloody clue do you? I urge you to read the Hamas charter a few months back and I'll bet you never did. As for what the Israeli one would say, more than likely something along the lines of their declaration of independence, an excerpt of which I provide below as I am sure you never looked at it. This particular quote comes after the paragraph where they have accepted the UN resolution drawing up the separation of Israel and Palestine, the one the Arabs never accepted.

"WE APPEAL - in the very midst of the onslaught launched against us now for months - to the Arab inhabitants of the State of Israel to preserve peace and participate in the upbuilding of the State on the basis of full and equal citizenship and due representation in all its provisional and permanent institutions.

I too am not a supporter of Israel however, I hate to see stupidity unanswered on the political forums. The one sided idiocy is just too much to allow to pass by without making comment. The history is out there Silvberbirch, try learning it sometime.



You know what they say over there SB? 'If the Arabs laid down their arms, there would be peace. If the Israelis laid down their arms, there would be no more Israel.'

The other saying is one so true as well. 'A Palestinian never passes up a chance lose an opportunity.'



Obviously you have no shmick of the history of Israel and have never read the Hamas charter as they would both tell you that yes, people are out to get them. Read up and get back to us.

You really think that all or even majority of Palestinians are willingly cooperating with Hamas and terrorist acts? Generalizations like this are served as excuse for treating civilians inhumane. Because of this it's so easy to order artillery and rocket fire against civilians.

It will take awhile but without generalizing we can get to today if you wish.

- at the end of the street are twenty five or so youths throwing half pound rocks, a very lethal object and, twenty five of them per salvo, fairly accurate. They are dispersed with tear gas rather than 5.56 rounds or rubber bullets. Press sees the brutality of the Israeli barbarism.

- bulldozer follows. Owner of house gets his 15 minutes and, later is proclaimed a hero of Palestine for his sacrifice and given some cash to either rebuild home or, just move in with sister or whatever.
