I know a bit more then a wanna be, arm chair quarterback, and understand the difference between an attack, and defensive action done for protection, and security. Manuvers done in open waters to minimize possible dangers that might occur with ships carrying cargo you do not know about. A needed military action carried out by authorities who knew IHH, and Free Gaza were involved. Both of which already known has puppets of Hamas, Iran.

My apology for saying Rachel Corre was Irish.When in fact it was an Irish vessel named after an American who was deliberatly murdered by Israeli bulldozer. So with that error I can see how it weakens my arguement that the IDF attacked a vessel at sea and slaughtered (one poor fellow was shot five times in the head) nine people. I guess they just wouldn't listen.

We said that in the 60s Silverbirch....how many Isreali and Moslem wars later? 6 day, Yon Kipper, Lebanon, Gaza, the entandada, the rockets from Lebanon, the rockets from Gaza, there are a few in there I missed even..........why don't we let the Isreali defend themselves and at the end of the day....see we are any closer to peace?
What is so bad inspection boarding on the high sea? We did to the NKoreans to find the SCUDs they were shipping to the middleeast.
We do it to over loaded boats carrying drugs to the US. We do it to somailian pirate vessels in on the Sea of Arabia.
Israel as a country has just as much right to do high seas inspections as we do.

I absolutely agree with you on that Costapacket.!! why does everyone make out Israel are bad or in the wrong? if the Muslim hamas supporters were not trying to sneak explosives in or weapons all the time then there would be a possibility of peace! you dont see israel sneaking weapons in all the time to fund terrorists!! so come on people stop looking through rose coloured spectacles! israel has a right to have peace and freedom and to make sure that terrorism is halted as best as possible and only way is to check all boats and get rid of the fanatical activists supporting HAMAS!! by deporting them. and if you were being battered by metal objects and thrown over board then i am sure you would bloody fight back aswell and dont say you wouldnt as you will be lying!!! and i dont want to hear about international waters we all saw with our own eyes on tele how the israelies were beaten first! so now i await the multitude of insults to come my way. Sorry to let you down....But I agree with you. Hamas has clearly stated numerous times it has not intention of letting Israel exist.....Some folk here ignore that fact....The plight of the ordinary Palestinian is dire but it will only be relieved when Hamas gives up it's declared aim and gets round the peace talks with the rest of the folk concerned.....And as for Piracy, Nah the rest of the world can do it (Board ships for self protection) USA what about the Cuban blocade, THE numerous countries of the horn of Africa And the various Navies in the Singapore Straight.... A ship in international waters is under the jurisdiction of the flag state.
Humanitarian aid and nuclear weapons are hardly comparable either. Did Cuban blockade help to get rid of Castro? Is it helping to get rid of Hamas? If not then they are just collective punishment against civilians.
