Defending oneself is fine using conventional weapons and obeying international laws.
So in answer to your question I would suggest they defend themselves, not by taking land that is not theirs, and not by commiting war crimes.

They are at war and have been since 1948 and are under no obligation to return land that they have won until peace is made.
Show me the UN Article which states that land must be returned when there is no peace treaty please.

I said that I found that seventy five percent of the posters from Ireland had posted some pretty vile things and wondered if there was a reason for it.
Then I looked and found that poll among many other articles and passed it on.
You are the one keeping this going. it would have died a quick death twelve pages ago had you just read what I wrote, and then, either argued about the poll or looked at it and offered a counter poll which stated the reverse - if there is one which there just might be.
